A seraph is a type of celestial or heavenly being originating in Ancient Judaism. The term plays a role in subsequent Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Aladura is a classification of churches that abide by a Christian religious denomination or trend inspired by activities of progressive church elements, J.B Sadare, D.O. Odubanjo, I.O Sanya and others in 1918. The denomination has over 3 million adherents worldwide.
Ihuo is an autonomous community in southeastern Nigeria, in Ikeduru, Imo state. It is located near Owerri. The name may be written and pronounced as Iho. The majority of inhabitants of this community refer to it as Iho-Dimeze and are sometimes referred to as "Dimeze".
Moses Orimolade Tunolase is the founder of the first African initiated church, the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim, which was established in 1925. The church was born out of the Anglican church community among the Yoruba people in Western Nigeria.
Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) is the first Aladura Pentecostal church present in Nigeria and other countries. It arose in the first half of the 20th century, in the then-British empire. It was formally established in 1941 after a split from the Apostolic Church which the original Aladura organization had invited to Nigeria. Its growth was led by Joseph Ayo Babalola, a road construction driver who became its founder. The revival led by Babalola resulted in thousands burning their traditional fetishes. This disturbed the colonial authorities, and allegations included witch-hunting and opposition to hospitals and medicine. Babalola was arrested and jailed.
Ile Oluji is a Local Government Area in Ondo State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Ile Oluji.
Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa was the founder of the Celestial Church of Christ after reportedly resurrecting people from the dead. He founded the church in 1947 after being lost for three months near Porto-Novo in Benin. The church now has its main offices in Bénin and Nigeria. Five percent, or 400,000, of the 8 million people of Benin are Celestial Christians. Oshoffa was reported to have had 14 wives and 54 children when he died in 1985 although some say these figures are high.
Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion is a Christian denomination from Nigeria. It was founded by Elisha Ilene Ogunfeyimi in 1948. Its headquarters is in Ugbonla.
The Holy Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church is an Aladura church originating from Nigeria. It is one of the first African initiated churches established back in 1925 with its founder known to be Baba Aladura St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase. The church was born out of the Anglican Church community among the Yoruba people in Western Nigeria.
The Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, also known as the esocs, is a church denomination in Nigeria that was founded by Moses Orimolade Tunolase in 1925. Orimolade received considerable media attention when he healed a girl, Christina Abiodun Akinsowon, from a long-term trance in which she could neither speak nor hear. After the healing event, Orimolade Tunolase and Abiodun Akinsowon teamed up, as father and adopted daughter, and offered their services to heal and pray for people.
