Cheryl Wilson is a session singer who has had multiple No. 1 dance songs on the UK Billboard chart [1] and has performed with many notable artists including Celine Dion, R. Kelly, Alice Peacock, Mavis Staples, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bertie Higgins, [2] Michael Bolton, Bill Withers, Peabo Bryson, David Foster, Josh Grobin, Enrique Iglesias, Nick Carter, KMFDM, Cameo, Rod Stewart, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Mel Torme, Spike Lee, Tony Bennett, Peter Cetera, and Martha Wash. [3] She has also sung in commercials for companies such as McDonald's [4] and is a member of the Jazz & Contemporary Studies Faculty at Roosevelt University in Chicago. [1] She contributes vocals to Jim Warner's Chicago musical project, Akalibrio. [5] Her performance on the KMFDM song "Power" was described as "soul-mama vamping". [6] She toured with Jim Gailloreto's Jazz String Quintent in 2016 to perform his modern jazz work, The Pythiad. [7]

Blitz had songs written in three different languages, and was moderately well received by critics. Most of its songs were remixed for the band's next release, Krieg.

Maybe This Christmas is a holiday compilation album released in November 2002 through Nettwerk Records featuring contemporary musicians performing both classic and original Christmas songs. The album, named by Ron Sexsmith, is the first in a series of three holiday compilations released through the record label between 2002 and 2004. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of each album went to Toys for Tots, a charity supported by the United States Marine Corps. Most of the tracks exclusive to Maybe This Christmas were recorded just a few months prior to its release. The album's cover art was designed by artist Paul Frank, creator of Julius the pictured "wide-mouth monkey". Critical reception of the compilation was mixed, with reviewers often complimenting or criticizing select tracks.
