Chicago Chronicles Volume 3 is a supplement in which the reprint series of the original Chicago-based campaign is concluded, although its events precede those of Under a Blood Red Moon. It compiles three notable modules— Ashes to Ashes , Blood Bond , and Milwaukee by Night . In Ashes to Ashes, the characters arrive to meet Prince Lodin only to discover his sudden disappearance and their own implication in the unfolding chaos. This initiates a web of intrigue and introduces key NPCs, including a flashback sequence that adds narrative through character backstory. Blood Bond places the characters in the midst of factional tension, allowing them to side with either Anarchs or the Camarilla, while also encountering the Sabbat. The module explores themes of manipulation and loyalty, particularly through the psychological trauma inflicted by the titular bond. Milwaukee By Night shifts focus to Chicago's neighboring city, offering a more overtly conflict-driven environment. Milwaukee presents a stage for open warfare and strategic dominance, enabling the characters to play kingmaker in its volatile political theater. [1]

Reception

Mark Barter reviewed Chicago Chronicles Volume 3 for Arcane magazine, rating it an 8 out of 10 overall, and stated that "These adventures gain greater depth as pieces in a developing campaign of some stature and in their vivid depiction of what it is to be a vampire. The players get plenty of drama, but are also encouraged to explore their own natures, torn between their fading humanity and the Beast. Excellent stuff only slightly spoilt by editorial blunders."
