The Chico River is a river, about 120 km (75 mi) long, flowing from Río Negro into Chubut Province, Argentina. Originating in the Andes foothills, it joins the Chubut River to the south of Cushamen.
Río Negro is a province of Argentina, located at the northern edge of Patagonia. Neighboring provinces are from the south clockwise Chubut, Neuquén, Mendoza, La Pampa and Buenos Aires. To the east lies the Atlantic Ocean.

This river is not to be confused with the much longer Chico River joining the Chubut at Florentino Ameghino Dam.
The Chico River is a river of Chubut Province, Argentina. It is about 300 kilometres (190 mi) long, flowing in a northeasterly direction from the vicinity of Lake Colhue Huapi. It is a tributary of the Chubut River, joining it at the Florentino Ameghino Dam.
The Florentino Ameghino Dam is a gravity dam in Chubut Province, Patagonia, Argentina, 140 kilometres (87 mi) west of the city of Trelew. The dam also protects the towns in the lower Chubut River valley from flooding.
