Jeu de Paume is an arts centre for modern and postmodern photography and media. It is located in the north corner of the Tuileries Gardens next to the Place de la Concorde in Paris. In 2004, Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume, Centre national de la photographie, and Patrimoine Photographique merged to form the Association Jeu de Paume.
Herzog & de Meuron Basel Ltd. is a Swiss based architecture firm with a head office of its own in Basel, Switzerland, founded by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. Both attended the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. They are perhaps best known for their conversion of the giant Bankside Power Station in London to the new home of Tate Modern. Herzog and de Meuron have been professors at ETH Zürich from 1999 until 2018, co-founding ETH Studio Basel in 1999 with architects Roger Diener and Marcel Meili in the department of architecture. Both have been visiting professors at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, with Jacques Herzog also a visiting tutor at the Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning.
Zhu Yu is a performance artist and cannibal living in Beijing, China. Zhu graduated from the Affiliated High School of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1991. His work deals with subjects of contemporary art.
esea contemporary, formerly the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art, is a contemporary art gallery based in Manchester, England. It is located on Thomas Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter in the renovated part of the Smithfield Market Hall.
Zhang Xiaogang is a contemporary Chinese symbolist and surrealist painter. Paintings in his Bloodline series are predominantly monochromatic, stylized portraits of Chinese people, usually with large, dark-pupiled eyes, posed in a stiff manner deliberately reminiscent of family portraits from the 1950s and 1960s. Recently, he also created sculptures, translating for the first time into three dimensions many characters of the sort seen in his "Bloodlines—Big Family" portrait series. These sculptures have featured in many exhibits and continue his work as one of China's leading, and most highly sought-after, contemporary artists.
Huáng Yǒng Pīng was a Chinese-French contemporary artist and one of the most well known Chinese avant-garde artists of his time. Born in Xiamen, he was recognized as the most controversial and provocative artist of the Chinese art scene of the 1980s.

Vangelis Rinas is a Greek painter and sculptor. He was born on Samos in 1966 and grew up on Ikaria. He holds an MFA from the Athens School of Fine Arts and lives and works in Athens and New York City. Since 1992, he has exhibited in Greece and abroad including solo shows at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing and at Tenri Cultural Institute in New York. Since 2000, he has presented three solo exhibitions entitled "Endless Sailing". Some of his sculptures, featuring Chinese ideograms and Braille writing, have been installed in the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
Li Hongbo is a Chinese artist born in Jilin in 1974. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Jilin Normal University in 1996, Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Folk Art in 2001, MFA degree in Experimental Art in 2010, both from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. Li Hongbo is best known for his lifelike paper sculptures, made entirely out of paper and glue. His work has been exhibited in museums around the world.
Feng Shu is a Chinese artist from Beijing who produces detailed skull and insect sculptures made from intricate hand-painted ceramic and steel.
Lu Xinjian is a Chinese born contemporary artist known for producing paintings, sculpture, graphic art and design.

Chen Fei, born in 1983, Hong Tong, Shanxi Province, China, was trained at the Beijing Film Academy, and in 2005, was graduated from Fine Arts Department. His passion for and extensive knowledge of movies has influenced his choice of subjects and compositional style in his paintings.
