China Manufacture License

China Manufacture License (CML/TS License/SELO certificate) refers to the practitioners licensing and authority of using the TS marking for the special equipment.

The companies who engage the manufacture (include: construction, making, installation, alteration, maintenance, etc.), use and inspection of the special equipment must be inspected and approved by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ), then can obtain the license and producing or selling the applied equipment in China. As the Executive organization, Special Equipment Licensing Office (SELO) of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) [1] (formerly known as Special Equipment Licensing Office of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, P.R.C.) was established on July 16, 2003, with the approval of AQSIQ. [2]

Special equipment covers: boilers, pressure vessels, pressure pipelines, elevators, cranes, passenger ropeways, large amusement devices, and non-road vehicles. [3]

The Supreme People's Procuratorate is the highest national agency responsible for legal prosecution and investigation in the People's Republic of China. Conceived initially in 1949 as the Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office, the agency was renamed the Supreme People's Procuratorate in 1954. Food safety in China

Food safety in China is a concern relating to agriculture in the world's most populated country. China's principal crops are rice, corn, wheat, soybeans, and cotton in addition to apples and other fruits and vegetables. China's principal livestock products include pork, beef, dairy, and eggs. The Chinese government oversees agricultural production as well as the manufacture of food packaging, containers, chemical additives, drug production, and business regulation. In recent years, the Chinese government attempted to consolidate food safety regulation with the creation of the State Food and Drug Administration of China in 2003; officials have also been under increasing public and international pressure to solve food safety problems. Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang said, "Food is essential, and safety should be a top priority. Food safety is closely related to people's lives and health and economic development and social harmony," at a State Council meeting in Beijing.

Li Changjiang was minister and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) party chief of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ).

National Standards of the Peoples Republic of China System of national standards of the Peoples Republic of China

National Standards of the People's Republic of China, coded as GB, are the national standards issued by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC).

The China seismic intensity scale (CSIS) is a national standard in the People's Republic of China used to measure seismic intensity. Similar to EMS-92 on which CSIS drew reference, seismic impacts are classified into 12 degrees of intensity, or liedu in Roman numerals from I for insensible to XII for landscape reshaping.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China was a ministerial-level department under the State Council of the People's Republic of China that is in charge of national quality, metrology, entry-exit commodity inspection, entry-exit health quarantine, entry-exit animal and plant quarantine, import-export food safety, certification and accreditation, standardization, as well as administrative law enforcement.

The Standardization Administration of China is the standards organization authorized by the State Council of China to exercise administrative responsibilities by undertaking unified management, supervision and overall coordination of standardization work in China. The SAC represents China within the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and other international and regional standardization organizations; the SAC is responsible for organizing the activities of the Chinese National Committee for ISO and IEC; the SAC approves and organizes the implementation of international cooperation and the exchange of projects on standardization.

Wang Yong (politician) Chinese politician

Wang Yong is a Chinese politician. He has been serving since 2013 as a State Councilor and is the former Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC). From September 2008 to August 2010 he was the Director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and in 2010, he was named by Forbes Magazine the 62nd World's Most Powerful Person.

QS mark

The QS mark is a Chinese quality and safety mark for food, beverages and other products. Introduced in 2003, it is managed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ). The license is required for many product categories if they are both manufactured and sold in China. The mark was‘as deprecated in October 2018, and replaced with the SC system, which consists of the letters SC followed by a 14 digit number. SC means Sheng Chan (manufacturing) and the number is partially unique to each food processing facility. The first three digits represent the food category, the next two digits represent the province, the 6th and 7th digits represent the city, the 8th and 9th the district, the 10th to 13th are the sequence code for the production license, which is unique and has to be renewed every 5 years, and the last digit is the evaluation code. An example code is SC10532011500380, which means: 105: milk, 32: Jiangsu, 01: Nanjing, 15: Jiangning district, 0038: license number, and 0: evaluation code, Meaning that the product was made in the Jiangning district of Nanjing, Jiangsu province.

China Top Brand

China Top Brand was a Chinese mark for well recognized brands. It was created in 2001 to promote strong Chinese brand names. In 2010 the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) announced that the mark was being phased out.

Yang Gang is a former Chinese politician. Between 2010 and 2013 Yang served as the deputy director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). Between 1999 and 2010, he was a top regional official in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, serving first as the Communist Party Secretary of regional capital Urumqi and then Deputy Secretary of the Xinjiang regional Party Committee.

The China Quality Certification Center is a Chinese administration based in Beijing with responsibilities for the implementation of product certification. It is responsible for product standards and quality standards sold on the Chinese market.

The “Registration of Overseas Supplier of Imported Scrap Materials“ is required for Non-Chinese companies for importing industrial waste and recycling parts into China. The application has to be submitted at the AQSIQ. The registration is mandatory for all Non-Chinese exporters. Aim of this registration is to monitor the import of potential environmental harmful material and ensure that no material is imported into China that are not in compliance with the Chinese environment standards. If companies are not registered, parts will be detained in customs and no import process is possible. In addition to the registration of the exporting companies, the parts have to be registered with the CCIC, and, furthermore, these parts will be accordingly inspected.

State Administration for Market Regulation

The State Administration for Market Supervision (SAMR), is the ministerial-level agency directly under the State Council of the People's Republic of China in charge of regulating areas such as market competition, monopolies, intellectual property, and drug safety. It is mainly responsible for the comprehensive market supervision and management, unifying the registration of market entities and establishing information disclosure and sharing mechanisms; organizing the comprehensive law enforcement of market supervision, undertaking unified anti-monopoly law enforcement, regulating and maintaining market order; organizing the implementation of the strategy of strengthening the country by quality, and is responsible Industrial product quality and safety, food safety, special equipment safety supervision; unified management of measurement standards, inspection and testing, certification and accreditation. The Administration was created in the 2018 Chinese overhaul of government administration, and merged or abolished a number of previous agencies, such as the State Intellectual Property Office. SAMR was created under the banner of the Central Comprehensively Deepening Reforms Commission under Xi Jinping, current General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party.

A Unified Social Credit Identifier is issued to registered companies and other types of organization by the Chinese government. It is "unified" in the sense that it is used both as the business registration number with the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and as the taxpayer identifier with the State Taxation Administration (STA). These identifiers are now used widely as the only organization id within and outside of the government. An identifier must be obtained before one can operate a business in China.

Wei Chuanzhong is a retired Chinese politician. He was investigated by China's top anti-graft agency in March 2019. He has retired for almost five years. Previously he served as deputy director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. He was director of the Chinese Society of Inspection and Quarantine.
