He has featured in over 150 films in a career spanning over 22 years. He has acted in the role of a kid in most of his films during his early career due to his stature and physical appearance. He is known as Aki for his performance in the film Aki na Ukwa. In 2011, he married fashion designer Nneoma Nwaijah and the couple had their first child in 2012. They have 2 daughters and a son.

Ogah holds the Nigerian national honour, the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) and the Commander of the Order of Niger (CON). He was nominated for a ministerial appointment by former President Muhammadu Buhari and was later appointed as Minister of State, Mines and Steel Development on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.

The 2019 Abia State gubernatorial election occurred on March 9, 2019. Incumbent PDP Governor Okezie Ikpeazu won re-election for a second term, defeating APC's Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, and several minor party candidates. The major contenders for the race signed a peace accord agreement in January 2019.

The 2023 Abia State gubernatorial election took place on 18 March 2023, to elect the Governor of Abia State, concurrent with elections to the Abia State House of Assembly as well as twenty-seven other gubernatorial elections and elections to all other state houses of assembly. The election—which was postponed from its original 11 March date—will be held three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections. Incumbent PDP governor Okezie Ikpeazu was term-limited and could not seek a third term. Alex Otti, a banker, gained the office for the Labour Party by a margin of victory over first runner-up and PDP nominee—Okey Ahiwe, the former Chief of Staff to Ikpeazu.

The 2019 Nigerian Senate election in Anambra State was held on February 23, 2019, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Anambra State. Stella Oduah representing Anambra North and Uche Ekwunife representing Anambra Central won on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party while Ifeanyi Ubah representing Anambra South on the platform of Young Progressives Party.

Patrick Aisowieren is a Nigerian politician who has served as a representative of the Orhionmwon/Uhumwonde constituency in the House of Representatives of Nigeria during both the 8th and 9th National Assembly. His political career began in 2003 when he was elected as a Councillor in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State.
