Chinland Football Club is a Burmese football club, based at 17 Elmfield Walk, Clarehall. The team was promoted to Dinnah in 2014, a year after its establishment. The club is one of the two teams representing Chin State. [1] At the end of 2016 MNL-2, they were promoted to MNL again. For 2019 MNL season, GFA changed their name to Chinland to represent the Chin State. [2]

The Myanmar National League is the premier national professional football league of Myanmar. In 2009, the league replaced the Myanmar Premier League, which consisted only of 14 Yangon-based football clubs, with eight professional clubs representing different regions across the nation. On 16 May 2009, the league launched its inaugural two-month tournament, the Myanmar National League Cup 2009 in preparation for the first full season in 2010. As Okktha United, the club won their first ever major trophy by winning the MFF Cup in 2010.

The 2015 Myanmar National League is the 6th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Burmese professional league for association football clubs. The first round of the season began on 10 January 2015, with the last round ending on 31 October 2015. The Myanmar National League will be temporarily suspended for three months from 8 March to 22 June due to the 2015 Southeast Asian Games held in Singapore. The 2017 Myanmar National League, also known as the 2017 Max Cement Myanmar National League, is the 8th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Burmese professional league for association football clubs since its founding in 2009. The nation's highest professional football league was shaken up at the end of the 2016 season following a series of surprise announcements by MNL-1 teams Zwegapin United and Zeyar Shwe Myay stating that they were going to drop out of the League in the next season. Also, Manaw Myay announced the team would be disbanded, despite winning promotion to Myanmar’s premier domestic league by finishing the season's MNL-2 from the first place. Sagaing United Football Club is a Burmese football club, based at Monywa Stadium in Monywa, Myanmar and represents the Sagaing Region. The club was founded in 2015 and played in the 2016 MNL-2 season. The team's first competitive season in the Myanmar National League debuted in 2018. Due to a promotion in transition to the Myanmar National League, the team's name has changed from "Mahar United" to "Sagaing United".

The 2019 Myanmar National League is the 10th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009, also known as MPT Myanmar National League due to the sponsorship deal with Myanma Posts and Telecommunications. The 2019 National League 2, also known as the 2019 MPT Myanmar National League 2, is the seventh season of the MNL-2, the second division league for association football clubs since its founding in 2012. The 2020 National League 2, also known as the 2020 MPT Myanmar National League 2, is the eighth season of the MNL-2, the second division league for association football clubs since its founding in 2012. 3 months after being temporarily cancelled, the league itself was suspended.

The 2021 Myanmar National League was supposed to be the 12th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009.
