Chloe Cook (born 1994) is a British professional triathlete.

Career

Cook competes at sprint, standard and Ironman 70.3 distances. Her highest placed results to date in the ITU came at the 2015 Burgas [1] and 2017 Tartu [2] ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cups, finishing second in both races.

In 2019 she competed at the 70.3 Ironman Staffordshire, placing 4th female [3] behind Lucy Charles-Barclay, Emma Pallant and Katrina Matthews (nee Rye) with a time of 4:30:20. She came out of the water in second place, maintained this position off the bike through T2 but then lost ground to Pallant and Matthews, with Pallant recording the fastest run split to take second place. [4]

Personal life

Cook's parents are Sarah Coope and Glenn Cook, both former professional triathletes. [5] Cook has three younger sisters, Ysabel, grace and Beth. her youngest sister, Beth, has had a number of successes in triathlon as a junior. [6]

Lucy Charles-Barclay is an English professional triathlete specialising in the Ironman and 70.3 distances, who is the 2021 World Champion in that discipline. Prior to taking up triathlon, Charles was an elite distance and open water swimmer. She attempted to gain selection for the British swimming team for the 2012 Olympic trials in both the pool and open water. She was, however, unsuccessful, despite having beaten open water trials winner Keri-anne Payne in the Great North Swim a month previously. Charles subsequently made her debut in triathlon in 2014 and went on to win the 18–24 women’s age category at the 2015 Ironman World Championship as an amateur. She subsequently turned professional. Husband, Reece Barclay is a British professional IronMan triathlete as-well and also coaches Lucy at the professional level.

Sophie Coldwell is a British triathlete. She competed in the women's event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. and has achieved several medals in International Triathlon Union (ITU) and European Triathlon Union (ETU) Championships. Sophie Coldwell is based in Loughborough, England. On the 26th June 2022, she won her 1st major medal when helping Team GB to Silver in the mixed team relay. Thomas Bishop is a British triathlete. He has represented England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and finished in 7th place in the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Series overall standings. Originally from Derby, Bishop graduated from the University of Leeds and is now based in the city, training at the Leeds Triathlon Centre.
