Chris Cattaneo is a retired American soccer forward who played professionally in the North American Soccer League and the Major Indoor Soccer League.

Cattaneo graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. [1] Cattaneo attended Tennessee Wesleyan College where he was a 1977 NAIA Second Team All American soccer player. [2] [3] In 1979, he turned professional with the Atlanta Chiefs of the North American Soccer League. In 1980, he moved to the Denver Avalanche of the Major Indoor Soccer League. [4]

He is currently a volunteer assistant coach for the Drexel Dragons women's team. [5] Cattaneo previously coached for the Delaware Blue Hens women's team. [6]

Tampa Bay Rowdies (1975–1993) Football club

The Tampa Bay Rowdies were an American professional soccer team based in Tampa, Florida, that competed in the original North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1975 to 1984. They enjoyed broad popular support in the Tampa Bay area until the NASL folded in 1984, after which the team played in various minor indoor and outdoor leagues before finally folding on January 31, 1994. The Rowdies played nearly all of their outdoor home games at Tampa Stadium and nearly all of their indoor games at the Bayfront Center Arena in nearby St. Petersburg, Florida. Although San Diego played indoors until 1996, the Rowdies were the last surviving NASL franchise that played outdoor soccer on a regular basis.

Fernando Caetano Clavijo Cedrés was a Uruguayan-American soccer defender and former head coach of the New England Revolution and Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He played three seasons in the American Soccer League, two in the North American Soccer League and ten in the Major Indoor Soccer League. He earned 61 caps with the United States men's national soccer team and eight with the U.S. national futsal team. He later coached both indoor and outdoor teams as well as at the national team level with Nigeria and Haiti. He was a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame and is a 2014 inductee into the Indoor Soccer Hall of Fame.

Kai Haaskivi is a retired Finnish soccer player. He starred in the North American Soccer League, playing outdoor as well as indoor soccer. He also played for the Finland national football team. He now coaches in the United States.

Kevin Troy Crow is a former U.S. soccer defender. He played two seasons in the North American Soccer League, eight in the Major Indoor Soccer League and four in the Continental Indoor Soccer League, all with the San Diego Sockers. He was a first team NASL All Star, a five-time MISL All Star and a five-time Defender of the Year. He earned thirteen caps with the U.S. national team from 1984 to 1988. His national team career included all three U.S. games at both the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics. He was the general manager of the San Diego Spirit and the chief operating officer of the Women's United Soccer Association. He has served on the United States Soccer Federation Board of Directors.

Chris Bennett is a former Canadian international and North American Soccer League soccer player. He was also one of the original Vancouver Whitecaps players from their first season in 1974. Since retiring from playing, he has been a soccer coach and instructor in the Vancouver area.

Bruce Miller is a Canadian retired soccer player who played professionally in the North American Soccer League, and Major Indoor Soccer League. He also earned eight caps with the Canadian national team and coached the Cleveland Crunch to two National Professional Soccer League titles. He now coaches youth soccer in Northern Ohio.

Jean Wilhelm Willrich is a German-American soccer player who played as a forward. He played in his native Germany, then two seasons in the Netherlands, eight in the North American Soccer League and twelve in the Major Indoor Soccer League.

John Best (soccer)

John Best was an American international soccer defender. He spent six seasons in the North American Soccer League where he was a five-time first team All Star. He later coached the NASL Seattle Sounders and served as the general manager of the Sounders and the Vancouver Whitecaps. He also earned one cap with the U.S. national team in 1973.

Victor Nogueira is a retired American soccer goalkeeper. Nogueira spent six seasons in the North American Soccer League, but gained his greatest recognition in over twenty seasons in three indoor leagues, the Major Indoor Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and the second Major Indoor Soccer League. He was also a member of the U.S. futsal team which took second place at the 1992 FIFA Futsal World Championship, and he is the father of FC Kansas City and United States forward Casey Loyd. He was elected to the Indoor Soccer Hall of Fame in 2011.

Dragan "Don" Popovic is a retired professional soccer midfielder and coach in the United States. He played professionally in Yugoslavia, Canada and the North American Soccer League. He later coached in both the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League.

Brian Haynes is a Trinidadian football coach and former player who earned twenty-one caps with the Trinidad and Tobago national team. He spent his entire professional career in the United States where he played for numerous indoor and outdoor leagues. He was the 1991 American Indoor Soccer Association Rookie of the Year, won three American Professional Soccer League titles and played five seasons with the Dallas Burn in Major League Soccer.

Petar "Peter" Baralic is a retired Yugoslavian National Team and Olympic Team "Captain" football player who played professionally in Europe and in the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League. He played for the highly ranked Red Star team in Europe. He coached the Arizona Sandsharks and Arizona Thunder. He also coached the Phoenix Hearts of the Southwest Indoor Soccer League. He was the 1990 SISL Coach of the Year.
