The Roll of Distinguished Philatelists(RDP) is a philatelic award of international scale, created by the Philatelic Congress of Great Britain in 1921. The Roll consists of five pieces of parchment to which the signatories add their names.
William Russell Lane-Joynt, born in Limerick, was an Irish barrister, philatelist and Olympic shooter. He founded the Irish Philatelic Society in Dublin and assisted the Duke of Leinster to form his collection which was bequeathed to the Dublin Museum of Science and Art. Lane-Joynt was one of only two Irish philatelists to be honoured by signing the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists.
Johannes Schmidt-Andersen was a Danish philatelist who in 1952 was awarded the Crawford Medal by the Royal Philatelic Society London for his work The postage stamps of Denmark 1851–1951. Gibbons Stamp Monthly called him "the Father of Danish philately". He signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1950.
George Ernest Barker was a British philatelist who in 2009 signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. From 1983 to 2001 he was Editor of The London Philatelist. He was a specialist in the stamps of France and its colonies.

Ferguson was an expert in the stamps of British Guiana about which he wrote in The British Guiana Philatelic Journal. He was the founder (1903) and Secretary of the British Guiana Philatelic Society.
Benjamin Goodfellow was a British solicitor and philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1923.
Raymond James George Collins was a New Zealand philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1936 and was the youngest man to receive that honour. Collins was unable to attend the signing ceremony in person.
Winifred Ethel Penn-Gaskell was a British philatelist who in 1938 was the first woman to be added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. She was a specialist in aerophilately, and the philately of the Peru-Chile war. Penn-Gaskell was president of the Aero-Philatelic Club, London, and her collection of airmail and associated material was bequeathed to the Science Museum, South Kensington.
Herbert Charles Vassall Adams was a British philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1946.
Frank Leslie Walton was a British philatelist and a former president of the Royal Philatelic Society London. He was formerly editor of The London Philatelist. Walton was a specialist in the philately of Sierra Leone. He is a signatory to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists.
Stephen Douglas Schumann is an American philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2015. Schumann specialises in collecting postal stationery and is an internationally accredited philatelic judge. He received the Luff Award in 2007 from the American Philatelic Society.
Dr. James Peter Mazepa is an American philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2015. Mazepa specialises in the philately of Poland and Mexico and is an internationally accredited philatelic judge. He received the Luff Award in 2010 from the American Philatelic Society.
