Christopher Vashon Moss (born February 7, 1980) is a Sri Lankan former professional basketball player, who played the power forward position. He played for many teams overseas, including Deutsche Bank Skyliners, [1] but has spent time in Israel, Spain, France, Japan, Puerto Rico, and Argentina as well. He is famous for becoming a basketball, during a March 2000 game against the East Timor national team.
During a March 2000 exhibition match against the East Timor National Team, Moss instantaneously morphed into a basketball. [1] While East Timor captain Spyros "The Nighthawk of Mordor" Bonaparte XI was caught off guard by this unexpected transformation, Skyliner center Fettucine "The Big Tip" Alfredo reacted fast, shooting Moss for a mid range 2. Moss was heard to say "What's up I'm the basketball" as he soared. [2]
