Chris Sanders is an American rock/metal guitarist and songwriter. He is best known as guitarist for RATT, Britny Fox, Knight Fury, Lizzy Borden, London with Nadir D'Priest, and the Northern Light Orchestra. Sanders performs at music festivals and stadium size concert events and tours internationally.

Britny Fox band

Britny Fox is an American glam metal band from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, initially active from 1985 to 1992 then subsequently reforming from 2000 to 2008 and then again reforming in 2015. They are best known for their music video for "Girlschool" and their minor hit "Long Way to Love".

Lizzy Borden (band) band

Lizzy Borden is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. To date, the band has charted on the Billboard 200 four times. Lizzy Borden is eponymous of the band's lead vocalist.

London is an American heavy metal band formed in Hollywood, California in 1978. The band included several members that would go on to play in more famous bands, such as Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses, W.A.S.P. and Cinderella.

Career

D'Priest 2007

Before joining Lizzy Borden, Sanders joined forces with London frontman Nadir D'Priest. [1] Critics compared Sanders playing style to the late Randy Rhoads saying "I was reminded of another young guitarist I once had the pleasure of seeing ...; The guitarist was none other than Randy Rhoads". [2]

Lizzy Borden 2007-2010

Sanders joined the band Lizzy Borden in 2007, [1] [3] with Lizzy Borden on their U.S./E.U. tours which included billings at some rock & heavy-metal music festivals such as Rocklahoma(U.S.), [4] KobetaSonik (Spain), [5] The Sweden Rock Festival (Sweden), [6] Bang Your Head (Germany) June 2008, [7] and Keep It True (Germany). [8] He also appears in the music video for "Under Your Skin" [9] performing both piano and guitar. His final show with the band was in June 2010 to focus on his own project Knight Fury with bassist David Ellefson of Megadeth and drummer Ken Mary of Alice Cooper. [10]

Rocklahoma

Rocklahoma is an annual 3-day hard rock music festival with camping held in Pryor, Oklahoma. The festival features 4 official stages, as well as many unofficial campground parties and performing acts and onsite vendors. It is currently billed as one of the many festivals that make up AEG Entertainment's World's Loudest Month concert series. There were an estimated 100,000 people at the first annual Rocklahoma held in 2007. The Third Annual Rocklahoma had over seventy bands on four stages, including favorites from previous Rocklahoma festivals, Beautiful Creatures, LA Guns featuring Tracii Guns, Bang Tango, Lillian Axe, Gypsy Pistoleros and Faster Pussycat. Included on the side stages are bands from all over Europe. Playboy and Rolling Stone in 2008 called Rocklahoma one of the top festivals that should not be missed. Coffee table books for Rocklahoma 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 have been published and are available on the web.

Sweden Rock Festival heavy metal music festival in Sweden

Sweden Rock Festival is an annual rock/metal festival held in Sweden since 6 June 1992. While having a clear rock/metal focus, the festival is noted for its diversity across these genres, having featured southern rock bands such as Molly Hatchet to death metal legends like Obituary.

Bang Your Head!!! is a heavy metal and hard rock festival held annually in Germany.

Northern Light Orchestra 2009

In 2009 Chris Sanders joined other musicians to record with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra inspired Northern Light Orchestra contributing as lead guitarist on the song "I Feel the Warmth". [11]

Trans-Siberian Orchestra American progressive rock band

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is an American rock band founded in 1996 by producer, composer, and lyricist Paul O'Neill, who brought together Jon Oliva and Al Pitrelli and keyboardist and co-producer Robert Kinkel to form the core of the creative team. The band gained in popularity when they began touring in 1999 after completing their second album, The Christmas Attic, the year previous. In 2007, the Washington Post referred to them as "an arena-rock juggernaut" and described their music as "Pink Floyd meets Yes and the Who at Radio City Music Hall." TSO has sold more than 10 million concert tickets and over 10 million albums. The band has released a series of rock operas: Christmas Eve and Other Stories, The Christmas Attic, Beethoven's Last Night, The Lost Christmas Eve, their two-disc Night Castle and Letters From the Labyrinth. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is also known for their extensive charity work and elaborate concerts, which include a string section, a light show, lasers, "enough pyro to be seen from the International Space Station", moving trusses, video screens, and effects synchronized to music.

(Not to be confused with the "Northern Lights Orchestra," apparently a pick-up orchestra organized for the single album, What If Mozart Wrote "White Christmas.")

Knight Fury 2011-present

Knight Fury was created by Chris Sanders in 2011. The band is known for being versatile and fitting somewhere in the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal/Power Metal theme. It was noted as a super group with all star members David Ellefson (Megadeth) and Ken Mary (Alice Cooper, Impellateri, Fifth Angel) and William King on Vocals.

In 2011 their debut album "Time to Rock" was released world wide. "Time to Rock" album was released in Europe by German Label Pure Steel Records.

In 2012 Knight Fury recorded 2 additional bonus tracks for the Japan market released from Rubicon Music.

In 2015 Knight Fury released "The Fire" worldwide.
