Chris Violette (born May 29, 1981) is a Canadian actor. He graduated with a business diploma and flew to Europe to explore. By the time he came home, he had decided to take a few years to focus on becoming an entertainer. He started with modeling, but then started attending acting classes. Before joining the cast of Power Rangers S.P.D. as Blue Ranger Sky Tate, Violette appeared on numerous television shows such as Queer as Folk , Show Me Yours , Wild Card , and Degrassi: The Next Generation . He was an unannounced guest at Power Morphicon in June 2007.

Power Rangers is an American entertainment and merchandising franchise built around a live-action superhero television series, based on the Japanese tokusatsu franchise Super Sentai. Produced first by Saban Entertainment, second by BVS Entertainment, later by Saban Brands, and today by SCG Power Rangers and Hasbro, the Power Rangers television series takes much of its footage from the Super Sentai television series, produced by Toei Company. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is a Japanese / American superhero children's television series that premiered on August 28, 1993, on the Fox Kids programming block. It is the first entry of the Power Rangers franchise, and became a 1990s pop culture phenomenon alongside a large line of action figures and other merchandise. The show adapted stock footage from the Japanese TV series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (1992-1993), which was the 16th installment of Toei's Super Sentai franchise. The second and third seasons of the show drew elements and stock footage from Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, respectively, though the Zyuranger costumes were still used for the lead cast in these two seasons. Labou is an independent film produced by Sheri Bryant and written and directed by Greg Aronowitz released by MGM on May 19, 2009. Greg Aronowitz was heavily involved with Power Rangers S.P.D. and directed many of the episodes. Many of the same actors that appeared in that season of Power Rangers are also seen in Labou, including Chris Violette, Kelson Henderson, Barnie Duncan and Monica May. The 2008–09 New York Rangers season was the National Hockey League franchise's 82nd season of play and their 83rd season overall.
