Christel Felgner (born 25 July 1942) is a retired German gymnast. She competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and finished in fourth place with the German team. Her best individual result was 30th place in the vault. [1] From 1966 she competed under the name Christel Wunder-Felgner. [2]

Christel Frese is a German former athlete who was successful as a 400-meter runner in the late 1960s and early 1970s. She competed for the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1972 Olympics. She won one silver and one bronze medal at European Championships with the 4x400-meter relay of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Uta Felgner is a German businesswoman. By the end of 2006 she was becoming known as the most high-profile hotel manager in the country. She was the manager of Berlin's luxurious Castle Hotel ("Schlosshotel") in Grunewald during June/July 2006 when all the hotel's 42 rooms and 12 suites were taken over to accommodate the Germany national team while it participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Christel Boom was an East German intelligence agent who worked for the Stasi to infiltrate the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), the ruling party of West Germany from 1965 to 1983. Alongside her husband, Günter Guillaume, she helped to orchestrate the infiltration of the West German Chancellor Willy Brandt's government. The pair passed NATO and SPD information to the Stasi between 1969 and 1974. Their exposure as spies in 1974, dubbed the Guillaume affair, was part of a chain of events which led to Brandt's resignation as Chancellor the same year.

Miss Europe 1954 was the 17th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the sixth edition under the Mondial Events Organization. It was held in Vichy, France, on June 20, 1954. Christel Schaack of Germany, was originally crowned Miss Europe 1954, by outgoing titleholder Eloisa Cianni of Italy. However, it was later revealed that Schaack was a widow and thus she was disqualified from Miss Europe and stripped of her crown. The crown then went to the 1st runner-up Danièle Génault of France. Despite being a widow, Schaack was allowed to keep her national Miss Germany title as the requirements for Miss Germany at the time only stated that single unmarried women can participate with no ban on widows or women with annulled marriages. The jury for this years pageant, in response, gave her the title of "Honorary Miss Europe", even though Danièle Génault of France was awarded the official crown and title. The Mondial Events Organization/Miss Europe Organization continued to list Schaack as the official winner on their website until the site was shut down in 2006.
