The Christian Democratic Party (Partai Kristen Demokrat, PKD), is a defunct Indonesian Christian Democratic political party founded in 2005. The party attempted to participate in the Indonesian 2009 election. The party managed to fulfill the administrative requirement but failed to fulfill the public support requirement. [1] [2]
The party initiator and founder is Sonny Wuisan (Secretary-General). Their leader and the founder is Tommy Sihotang. [3]
In 2012, the party is disbanded and joined another Christian party, the Prosperous Peace Party. [4] [5]
The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle is a secular-nationalist political party in Indonesia. Since 2014, it has been the ruling and largest party in the House of Representatives (DPR) with 128 seats. The party is currently led by Megawati Sukarnoputri, who served as the President of Indonesia from 2001 to 2004. It is also the party of the current president, Joko Widodo.

The People's Conscience Party, better known by its abbreviation, Hanura, is a political party in Indonesia. It was established following a meeting in Jakarta on 13–14 December 2006 and first headed by former Indonesian National Armed Forces commander Wiranto. The party lost its seats in the People's Representative Council after a poor performance in the 2019 general election.
The Labour Party was a political party in Indonesia. It had its origins in the Indonesian Prosperous Laborers organization (SBSI), which in 1993 threw its support behind the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI) as a vehicle for its political aspirations. When the PDI split in 1996, it allied itself with the breakaway faction led by Megawati Sukarnoputri, which led to it coming under pressure from the New Order government of President Suharto. On 30 July 1996, SBSI chairman Muchtar Pakpahan was detained on subversion charges. Following the fall of Suharto in 1998, the SBSI became disillusions with Megawati's now renamed Indonesian Democratic Party – Struggle and decided to establish its own party, the National Labour Party. After the failure in 1999 election, the party changed its name to Social Democrat Labour Party. The party stood in the 2004 Indonesian legislative election, but won only 0.6 percent of the vote and no legislative seats. Party chairman However, the party has 12 representatives in provincial assemblies. The party subsequently changed its name to the Labour Party.
The NasDem Party is a political party in Indonesia. It is partly funded by media baron Surya Paloh who founded the similarly named organization, National Democrats. Despite this, and logo similarity, Nasional Demokrat has insisted that it is not linked with the party.
General elections were held in Indonesia on 17 April 2019. The Nanggroe Aceh Party is a regional political party in Indonesia. It was founded by Irwandi Yusuf, who was Aceh's governor between 2007 and 2012. The Change Indonesia Guardian Party, better known as the Garuda Party, is a political party in Indonesia that contested the 2019 general election. The party has been linked to the family of former president Suharto. Officials have denied the party is linked to the Suharto family or to former general Prabowo Subianto's Gerindra Party. Garuda declared itself to be neutral in the April 2019 presidential election, although some of its officials and legislative candidates voiced support for Prabowo.
General elections are scheduled to be held in Indonesia on 14 February 2024 to elect the President, Vice President, People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) which consists of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Senate (DPD) The newly elected members of the MPR will be sworn in on 1 October 2024, while the elected President and Vice President will be sworn in on 20 October 2024. Incumbent President Joko Widodo is ineligible to run for a third term due to the term limits established by the Indonesian constitution.

Throughout March 2023, the Central Jakarta District Court and the General Election Supervisory Agency made separate rulings in favour of the Just and Prosperous People's Party following the party's lawsuits against the General Elections Commission (KPU).
