A beauty pageant or beauty contest is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants.
Miss India or Femina Miss India is a national beauty pageant in India that annually selects representatives to compete in Miss World, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. It is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by The Times Group. Since 2013, Femina has also organised Miss Diva as a separate competition, with representatives competing at Miss Universe.

She also represented Puerto Rico at Miss World 2014 in London. She was crowned Miss Florida USA 2017 but was disqualified for using outside assistance on hair and makeup. The following year, she was crowned Miss Florida USA 2018 and represented Florida in Miss USA 2018, where she made the Top 5.
Myriam Carolina Arévalos Villalba is a Paraguayan model and beauty pageant titleholder who after being crowned Miss Mundo Paraguay at the Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2014 pageant represented her country at the Miss World 2014 pageant held in London. She also represented Paraguay at Miss Universe 2015 held in Las Vegas.
Miss Universe 2016 was the 65th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Mall of Asia Arena, in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on January 30, 2017. This is the second time in the history of the competition that the pageant skipped an entire year, following the 2014 pageant which was held in January 2015.

On October 20, 2018, Miss Earth announced in their Facebook page that the winners of Eco-Video and Eco-Media Award winners automatically fast-tracked to the Top 18; the two delegates who earned two spots through the preliminary panel of judges and by the votes of social media.
Rern Sinat is a Cambodian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Cambodia 2017 on 1 September 2017 in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. She is the second Miss Cambodia to compete for the title of Miss Universe in history.
Marian Joyce Prado Rivera is a Bolivian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Bolivia 2018. she represented Bolivia at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. Prado was stripped of her Miss Santa Cruz and Miss Bolivia crowns for 'breach of contract', when she revealed she was pregnant in April 2019.

As Miss Universe Kenya, she represented Kenya at Miss Universe 2021. Ebrahim had previously been crowned Mr. and Mrs. Universities 2014, Miss World Kenya 2016 and Miss Supermodel International Kenya 2018.
Binibining Pilipinas 1995 was the 32nd edition of Binibining Pilipinas. It took place at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 12, 1995.
Jennie Tonkham Phonchanhueang is a Lao model, actress and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Laos 2017 and Miss Universe Laos 2021. She represented Laos at Miss World 2017 and Miss Universe 2021.
