Anita Frances Phillips is a former Australian politician. She studied at the University of Melbourne, receiving a Diploma of Social Studies in 1968 and a Bachelor of Arts in 1976. In 1969, she moved to Townsville in Queensland and became a social worker. In 2001, she was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland as the Labor member for Thuringowa, defeating One Nation-turned-independent sitting member Ken Turner. In 2004, she retired in order to contest the federal seat of Herbert, held by the Liberal Party's Peter Lindsay, in the 2004 federal election but was unsuccessful.

He is host of the Scott Emerson Drive Show on Brisbane talkback radio station 4BC and a regular contributor on Nine Network breakfast television program Today and Sky News Australia. He served as the Minister for Transport and Main Roads Minister in the Newman Ministry from 2012 to 2015. In the Legislative Assembly of Queensland he represented the seat of Indooroopilly in Brisbane's inner-west, from 2009 to 2017. Indooroopilly was abolished at the 2017 state election and Emerson chose to contest the new seat of Maiwar which had a notional LNP margin of 3%; Emerson was unsuccessful in his bid, losing to the Greens candidate Michael Berkman.
Dianne Elizabeth Farmer is an Australian politician currently serving as the Minister for Employment and Small Business and Minister for Training and Skills of Queensland. She was first elected for the seat of Bulimba to the Queensland State Parliament for the Labor Party at the 2009 Queensland election but lost her seat at the 2012 election to Aaron Dillaway of the Liberal National Party. Farmer defeated Dillaway at the 2015 election to regain Bulimba for Labor and was re-elected in 2017 and 2020.
