Christoph Kunz (born 24 March 1982) is an alpine skier who won a gold and a silver medal for Switzerland at the 2010 Winter Paralympics. Kunz also represented Switzerland at the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi winning a gold medal in the giant slalom. [1]
The 2014 Winter Paralympics, the 11th Paralympic Winter Games, and also more generally known as the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, were an international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), held in Sochi, Russia from 7 to 16 March 2014. 45 National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) participated in the Games, which marked the first time Russia ever hosted the Paralympics. The Games featured 72 medal events in five sports, and saw the debut of snowboarding at the Winter Paralympics.

He finished 22nd in the sitting giant slalom, nearly a minute behind the gold medal time.

Their three silvers and a bronze at the Winter Paralympics made them the most successful female British Winter Paralympians of all time, and the first Britons to win four medals at one Paralympics. Because of her success at the 2014 Paralympics, Etherington was the British flagbearer at the 2014 Winter Paralympics closing ceremony.
Andrea Eskau is a German handbiker, Paralympic biathlon, and cross country skier who was born in Apolda and was a winner of three gold medals in Summer Paralympic games. In 2014, she became a recipient of another gold medal at the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia. In 2013, she was a cross-country sit skiing winner at the IPC Nordic Skiing World Championship. Eskau also competed at the 2016 Paralympic games in Rio de Janeiro winning a gold medal in the H5 Cycling road race and taking home a bronze medal in the H4-5 time trial. In 2018, Eskau went on to compete at her third Winter Paralympmics and won gold in both the 10 km and 12.5 km sitting biathlon.
Alena Kaufman is a Russian paralympic biathlete and skier who won two gold medals at the Sochi Paralympic Games for 6, and 10 km race respectively. On March 12, 2014, she was congratulated by the Russian President Vladimir Putin for winning a bronze medal in 1 km cross-country skiing. Previously, she also was a gold medalist at the 2006 and bronze one at the 2010 Winter Paralympics.
Azat Karachurin is a Russian Paralympic biathlete who won gold medal for the 12.5 km standing event despite missing one target on March 11, 2014 at the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia. After the event, he received congratulations from the Russian President Vladimir Putin who said that his hard work earned him a medal. He was also a winner of bronze medal for the 7.5 km biathlon race in the same place.

She competed at the 2022 Winter Paralympics, winning a gold medal, in Women's 6 kilometres.
The Netherlands sent a delegation to compete at the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia, held between 7–16 March 2014. The Netherlands delegation consisted of seven competitors, all of which were competing in sports under the alpine skiing banner. Bibian Mentel won the nation's only medal at these Paralympics, a gold in women's snowboard cross. With one gold medal, the Netherlands ranked a joint 14th place on the medal table with Switzerland.
