Christophe Didillon (born 1971 in Aurich, Germany) is an artist (acrylic paintings, collages, photos). He had also become a member of PARADOX artist group and OMMA.
He participated at the opening of "The Free Will – 20 Years Glasnost" art exhibition in Berlin and handed over his present (painting named “GLASNOST”) to Gorbachev. Scholarship by the Otto-Flath-Foundation.
In May 2006 Didillon made his WALK OF FLAME, a pilgrimage from San Francisco to Hollywood, dedicating his pilgrimage to the actress Kirsten Dunst and to his grandfather Johannes Schumacher, who had been a prisoner of war in Russia during World War II, and had escaped by walking hundreds of miles home to his family in Germany.
He has had many single and group exhibitions in Germany and other countries. The artist was admitted to the virtual gallery of German Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He had exhibitions at Nankai University Museum of Contemporary Art Tianjin and at Shandong Province Government, China. He participated in "The Dragon of East and West", international art exchange projects between artists from Germany and China, with group exhibitions in different German and Chinese cities. He had a single exhibition at the Parliament of Hessen in the city of Wiesbaden, Germany. Further exhibitions in China, the United States and Greece are being prepared at Beijing, Shanghai, Weihai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and other cities in Southern China and Taiwan as good as Santa Barbara (USA) and Chania (Greece).
He created paintings for Mikhail Gorbachev and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
Didillon was appointed as "Consultant of International Art" by the chairman of the Hua Cui Artists Community of Tianjin, Madame Gu Yingzhi.
On February 1, 2007 Didillon threatened to commit suicide under the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin as a protest "against the silent repression of the meaning of human dignity out of the modern society life." [1]
Didillon creates a collection of charities for Amnesty International and its fight against female genital mutilation in the Third World and elsewhere. The artist wants to raise funds and find sponsors to collect the amount of $1 million. For this purpose he did a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago from Germany to Santiago de Compostela in Spain in the late summer of 2007. Didillon had to end his pilgrimage after a foot injury in France. Donors could send a contribution directly to Amnesty International. [2]
At the Cannes Film Festival 2008, Didillon established an art project for kids suffering from cancer. He created paintings together with prominent persons in order to auction them to benefit a society that advocates the interests of children and juveniles suffering from cancer. [3] [4]
A 35 year old man, calling himself an artist on the internet (...) threatened to thrust a samurai sword into his stomach. He had declared to commit suicide on the occasion of the presentation of the Golden Camera awards. Special forces overpowered him. 40 policemen were on site.
Kirsten Caroline Dunst is an American actress. She has received various accolades, including a Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress, in addition to nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and four Golden Globe Awards. She made her acting debut in the short Oedipus Wrecks directed by Woody Allen in the anthology film New York Stories (1989). She then gained recognition for her role as child vampiress Claudia in the horror film Interview with the Vampire (1994), which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She also had roles in her youth in Little Women (1994) and the fantasy films Jumanji (1995) and Small Soldiers (1998).

Zhang Xiaogang is a contemporary Chinese symbolist and surrealist painter. Paintings in his Bloodline series are predominantly monochromatic, stylized portraits of Chinese people, usually with large, dark-pupiled eyes, posed in a stiff manner deliberately reminiscent of family portraits from the 1950s and 1960s. Recently, he also created sculptures, translating for the first time into three dimensions many characters of the sort seen in his "Bloodlines—Big Family" portrait series. Yue Minjun is a contemporary Chinese artist based in Beijing, China. He is best known for oil paintings depicting himself in various settings, frozen in laughter. He has also reproduced this signature image in sculpture, watercolour and prints. While Yue is often classified as part of the Chinese Cynical Realist art movement developed in 1989, Yue rejects this label, but also "doesn't concern himself about what people call him."
Claudio Nelson Bravo Camus was a Chilean hyperrealist painter. He was greatly influenced by Renaissance and Baroque artists, as well as Surrealist painters such as Salvador Dalí. He lived and worked in Tangier, Morocco, beginning in 1972. Bravo also lived in Chile, New York and Spain. He was known mainly for his paintings of still lifes, portraits and packages, but he had also done drawings, lithographs, engraving and figural bronze sculptures. Bravo painted many prominent figures in society, including caudillo Franco of Spain, President Ferdinand Marcos and First Lady Imelda Marcos of the Philippines and Malcolm Forbes.
Liu Bolin is a contemporary concealment artist born in China's Shandong province. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Shandong College of Arts in 1995 and his Master of Fine Arts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing in 2001. His work has been exhibited in museums around the world. Also known as "the invisible man", Liu's most popular works are from his "Hiding in the City" series, photographic works that began as performance art in 2005 in response to the artists' village in which he worked in Beijing being demolished in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Vladimir Kush is a Russian born surrealist painter and sculptor. He studied at the Surikov Moscow Art Institute, and after several years working as an artist in Moscow, his native city, he emigrated to the United States, eventually establishing his own gallery on the island of Maui in Hawaii. His oil paintings are also sold as giclée prints which contributed to his popularity and led to the establishment of further galleries in Laguna Beach, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2011 Kush won the First Prize in Painting at the Artistes du Monde international exhibition in Cannes.
Martino Yu, a Taiwanese artist, who was born in Taoyuan, North Taiwan. He had studied Chinese calligraphy and painting since the childhood. In Taipei, he majored in Chinese painting for the B.F.A and M.F.A. degree. Also good at singing, the artist obtained the certificates of classic vocal in Spain and Italy, respectively. After completing the PhD. study of design in 2010, he was awarded the Golden Melody Awards in 2011 with his falsetto tutor, Wen-bin Chou. Both of them are the rarely seen falsetto tenors in Taiwan.
Igor Alekseevich Novikov, also Igor Alexejewitsch Nowikow, (Russian): Новиков, Игорь Алексеевич is a Swiss- Russian painter, art theorist, philosopher, a bbrght representative of sotsarta, member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Art Igor Novikov belongs to one of the areas of postmodern art, Sots Art. He belongs to the generation of Moscowian Soviet Nonconformist Art painters who have been shaped by the demise of the Soviet Union. Igor Novikov creates his own style of drawing, his philosophy in painting, his own direction – suggestisms.
Alexander Gurevich is an Israeli painter and graphic artist. He was born in Alapaevsk, Ural where his family stayed during World War II. Gurevich's parents divorced when he was young; he and his mother returned to her hometown Leningrad when he was 18 months old. He was raised by his grandparents from mother's side. After finishing high school, he attended the then Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute (LETI) during 1961-1967, majoring in electronic engineering. Upon graduation Gurevich worked as an engineer for 5 years. In 1971 Gurevich enlisted into High Art College, named Muhina, from which he graduated 3.5 years later; after earning a degree in Industrial Design. He worked as a decorator for 15 following years, at the same time pursuing his unofficial creative career as an artist.
Roberto Donis was a Mexican painter and art teacher. He began studying art at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado "La Esmeralda", but unsatisfied with the instruction, helped organize a student strike. It was unsuccessful and rather than return to school, he decided to go to Morelia to teach. Donis’ art career consisted of exhibitions both in Mexico and abroad, including an important exhibition at the Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City and accepted as a regular with the prestigious Galería de Arte Mexicano. His teaching career included directorship at the Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez as well as helping to found the Taller de Artes Plásticas Rufino Tamayo in the city of Oaxaca. He received several recognitions for his work, including membership in the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana.
Yuan Gong, is a Chinese contemporary artist. He has obtained a PhD degree in theory of art at the Chinese National Academy of Arts in 2012, but has immersed himself in different aspects of Chinese contemporary art since the 1990s. Being both creator and researcher, designer and planner, Yuan is a multiple facets artist playing at the interface of conceptual art, performance and fine arts. Using a large variety of media, his artworks address many philosophical questions, reflecting his concerns about the Chinese society and impugning the art system, the exhibition format and the status of the artwork.
Luca Lazar or Luka Lasareishvili is a Georgian artist. He was born on 14 November 1957 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He studied at the Tbilisi State Art Academy from 1976 to 1982 from which he graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts degree. Since 1982 he has been working as an independent, professional artist and participated in numerous solo- and group exhibitions in galleries and museums. He has worked in a variety of media: painting, installations, object and video art. From 1985 until 1988 Lazar lived and worked in Moscow, Russia. He then moved on to Paris, France. The following year, 1989, Lazar spent in Kassel, Germany as an artist-in-residence with the Museum Fridericianum. From 1990 until 2003 Lazar lived and worked in Cologne, Germany. During his time in Germany, sweeping changes were taking place in his native region that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union, the declaration of independence of Georgia and was followed by armed conflicts and civil war in his country of origin. As Lazar was unable to return, he stayed on in Germany, where he eventually received citizenship. From 1997 until 2005 he held a position as lecturer at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Trier, Germany. In 2003 Lazar relocated to New York City, United States, where he has continued his artistic career.
Xiao Hui Wang is a Chinese artist, author and socialite who works mainly in photography, sculpture, design, and media art. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors; the city of Suzhou has named an art institution after her, a rare honor for a living artist. She has been profiled by the prestigious Hong Kong magazine Phoenix Weekly as one of the Top Fifty Most Influential Chinese Worldwide. She has been a professor at Shanghai's Tongji University since 2003, where she runs the Xiao Hui Wang Art Center. She divides her time between China and Germany.
Chen Danqing is a Chinese-American artist, writer, and art critic. He is well known for his realist paintings of Tibetans. Chen graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Li Xinmo is a Chinese feminist artist, art critic, and teacher. She graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting, and received her master's degree from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 and now resides in Beijing. She is a member of the German IO culture institution, vice president of Chinese and Germany culture communication organization. Li is mainly devoted to feminist theory and contemporary art criticism research. Her creation involves a series of issues such as gender, ethnicity, environment, and national politics. Her artworks are based on a variety of media, especially performance, photography and painting. Her works have been exhibited in major art galleries such as the Louvre in France, the National Museums of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the Bonn Women's Museum in Germany. She also participated in Toronto Photo Biennial and Prague Art Biennial. Many museums such as the Taida Museum and the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities in Sweden have some of her works.
