Christopher Flinder Petersen (born October 29, 1987), is a Norwegian dancer, model and former member of the boyband L8R. At 13 he finished sixth in the world championships in freestyle dancing and two years later he became a member of the band L8R. The group split up in July 2004 when he chose to leave the group after getting into a prominent dance academy in Oslo.[ citation needed ]

In 2006 Petersen ended third on the Norwegian version of "So You Think You Can Dance" (Dansefeber), [1] receiving much praise for his charisma and technique.

Now Christopher is a successful dancer working for companies like: Russell Maliphant Dance Company, Batsheva Dance Company and Carte Blanche. He has worked with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Hofesh Shecter and Russell Maliphant.

Sadler's Wells Theatre is a performing arts venue in Clerkenwell, London, England located on Rosebery Avenue next to New River Head. The present-day theatre is the sixth on the site since 1683. Margaret Berger Musical artist

Margaret Berger is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, music director, and DJ. She made her debut on Sony BMG after she placed second on the second season of Norwegian Idol in 2004.

"It's All Coming Back to Me Now" is a power ballad written by Jim Steinman. According to Steinman, the song was inspired by Wuthering Heights, and was an attempt to write "the most passionate, romantic song" he could ever create. The Sunday Times posits that "Steinman protects his songs as if they were his children". Meat Loaf had wanted to record the song for years, but Steinman saw it as a "woman's song". Steinman won a court movement preventing Meat Loaf from recording it. Girl group Pandora's Box went on to record it and it was subsequently made famous through a cover by Celine Dion, which upset Meat Loaf because he was going to use it for a planned album with the working title Bat Out of Hell III. Alternately, Meat Loaf has said the song was intended for Bat Out of Hell II and given to the singer in 1986, but that they both decided to use "I'd Do Anything for Love " for Bat II, and save this song for Bat III.

Rowland Sutherland British flautist

Rowland Sutherland is a British flautist, who studied flute at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Kathryn Lukas, Philippa Davies and Peter Lloyd and participated in master classes given by the late Geoffrey Gilbert. He studied jazz with the late pianist Lionel Grigson in the mid-1980s. Sutherland performs in new music ensembles, jazz groups, symphony orchestras, various non-Western groups, pop outfits and as a soloist. Russell Maliphant

Russell Maliphant is a British choreographer who trained at the Royal Ballet School and graduated into Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet before leaving to pursue a career in independent dance. As a performer Maliphant worked with companies such as DV8 Physical Theatre, Michael Clark Company, Laurie Booth Company and Rosemary Butcher. He has studied anatomy, physiology, bio-mechanics, and the Rolfing Method of Structural Integration. In April 2000, he received an Arts Council Fellowship. He has created over 20 pieces to date, collaborating closely with lighting designer Michael Hulls, and has set works on renowned companies and artists including: Lyon Opera Ballet, Ricochet Dance Company, The Batsheva Ensemble and Ballet de Lorraine.

The 2009 series of Norske Talenter was the first series of this television programme. It began airing on TV 2 February 13, 2009 with audition in Bergen, and the live final was held May 8, 2009. The winners this season, was the hip hop dance crew Quick Style at the ages 17–18. Runner-up became 14-year-old classical singer Lydia Hoen Tjore and 6-year old magician Brian Aksnes Hoseth finished in third place.

Hallgrim Hansegård Norwegian choreographer and dancer (born 1980)

Hallgrim Hansegård is a Norwegian choreographer and dancer whose background is rooted in his traditional halling dance training and contemporary dance. He is also known for leading a trio of dancers who danced alongside Alexander Rybak onstage at The Eurovision Song Contest 2009 which his country won.

Dansefeber is a Norwegian television reality program and dance competition airing on the TVNorge network. The show is a version of the US original version So You Think You Can Dance. Season two premiered with Merete Lingjærde, Geir Bie and Vibeke Sørlie as permanent judges and Henriette Lien returning to host. Contemporary dancer Hanna Mjåvatn was crowned Norway's Favourite Dancer and the top price of 500,000 norwegian kroner, as the first female dancer to win the competition in every version of the show. Runner-up were hip-hop dancer Eric Nærbø, with jazz dancer Michelle Purvis finishing 3rd, and Latin ballroom dancer Bjørn Holthe finishing 4th.

Dansefeber is the Norwegian version of So You Think You Can Dance.

To recognise excellence in professional dance in the United Kingdom, The Critics' Circle organised and presented the National Dance Awards 2005. The ceremony was held at the Royal Opera House, London, on 19 January 2006, with awards given for productions staged in the previous year.

Cheat Codes (DJs) American electronic music DJ trio

Cheat Codes is an American electronic music DJ trio. Consisting of KEVI, Trevor Dahl, and Matthew Russell based in Los Angeles, the group is notable for their 2016 single "Sex", which samples the chorus from "Let's Talk About Sex" by Salt-N-Pepa, and their 2017 single "No Promises", which featured American popstar Demi Lovato and peaked within the top 40 of the US, UK and Australia. The track was certified Platinum by the RIAA.
