Christopher Whitbread

ChristopherLaurence Whitbread (born December 1964) is a British conservative politician.

Life and career

Whitbread was born in Epping. He was elected to the Essex County Council in 2017. [1] He currently serves on the Cabinet, as Member for Finance, Resources and Corporate Affairs on for the couny council. [2] Since 2012, he has been the Leader of Epping Forest District Council. [3]

During the 2025 British anti-immigration protests, he was outspoken against the use of hotels for asylum seekers. [4]
