Dionte Hunter, better known by his stage name Chuuwee (born September 7, 1990) is an American hip hop artist from Sacramento, California. Chuuwee spent many years of his life moving around as a child. He lived in nearly every neighborhood of Sacramento, CA before moving to San Antonio in middle school.

Chuuwee has a style unique to Northern Californians, smooth, street savvy, world conscious, & political lyrics, which set him apart from other Hip Hop Artists and Rappers. By Age 21, Chuuwee considered himself a master of song writing having developed a style in any and every genre of rap / Hip Hop and even bending the elements of Punk Rock and R&B in his current musical identity. Chuuwee has established a strong underground presence and is regularly featured on popular hip hop blogs and websites, such as 2DopeBoyz, HipHopDX, DJBooth, AllHipHop, Complex Magazine, and others. [1] [2] [3] [4] He also received a feature in XXL magazine. [5] He was interviewed by Forbes at SXSW '12 as a rising artist. [6]

In 2010 Chuuwee was introduced to the manager of Max B and CEO of pioneering Hip Hop label Amalgam Digital, Next aka Anyextee who after hearing the track "Post Mortem" immediately signed the rapper to his management company, leveraging the label to promote his independent project "Watching The Throne". In 2011 Anyextee officially signed Chuuwee as a recording artist to the Amalgam Digital record label joining the home of Joe Budden, Curren$y, Lil B and other notable acts.

Chuuwee has worked with in the past include Cookin' Soul, Lee Bannon, Large Professor, as well as many others. [7] [8] [9] He is currently signed to Below System Records for digital distribution and has released two albums (South Sac Mack / AmeriKKa's Most Blunted 2) through the label. He is soon to release a new 5 part album titled "Dystopia" in 2020.

Chuuwee is also the first human being to have a full music video shot in Volumetric Virtual Reality due to a 2016 collaboration with 8i Reality.

Founded in 2006 by Anyextee, the privately owned label had been home to a variety of artists throughout the decade before significantly downsizing in its later years. The label's online store was the first genre-specific digital download store specializing in hip hop music. It focuses on independent labels and artists through the implementation of a new user-generated content module that allowed artists to upload content directly to the site for immediate purchase. Amalgam Digital also houses an exclusive independent record label by the same name, specializing in hip hop music and distribution. In an April 2008 issue, The Source proclaimed that Amalgam Digital has "its finger on the pulse of hip-hop's future."

Gerald Joshua Walker, is an American rapper and singer from Chicago, Illinois. He signed to fellow Midwestern rapper Stalley's label, Blue Collar Gang in 2018. Walker is known for his soul influenced style of hip-hop, and his association with rappers Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Yelawolf, Skyzoo and Rockie Fresh, as well as record producer Cardo.

Overly Dedicated is the fourth solo mixtape by American rapper Kendrick Lamar, released on September 14, 2010, via Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). The mixtape features guest appearances from Dash Snow, Jhené Aiko, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Ash Riser, Dom Kennedy and Murs, among others. 2DopeBoyz, stylized in all caps, is an online hip hop music review, news and criticism website launched in 2007 by Meka Udoh and Joel "Shake" Zela, who were former editors at HipHopDX. The website played a central role in hip hop's blog era of the mid-2000s and early 2010s, a period of growth for non-mainstream outlets as music media transitioned from primarily print and radio-based to online outlets and social media. 2DOPEBOYZ and other blogs like it helped promote unsigned and unknown rappers to notoriety, launching the careers of many of the star artists of the period.
