Cisfinitum is a post-industrial noise project from Moscow, Russia. It was started in the late 1990s by composer and musician Eugene Voronovsky [1] and has drawn significant attention as one of the most uncommon and distinctive on the national experimental scene. [2] Cisfinitum has an emotional sound lying within the boundaries of drone ambient and noise. [3]
Cisfinitum's leader, Eugene Voronovsky, graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory [4] as a professional violinist. [1] In his music, he uses classical instruments such as the violin, the piano and percussion along with sounds considered "non-musical", such as a coffee grinder or dying man's breath, processed with analog and digital technologies. Cisfinitum can be called the industrial-ambient reading of academic music.
Cisfinitum is the sound of eternity. I've always wanted to create the music of Russian cosmos, music capable of expressing information about Russia that is impossible to reveal by means of words. They call this 'drone' overseas, but I prefer to define it 'metaphysical ambient, Eugene Voronovsky [5]
Their releases have been issued on various labels, such as Entity, Insofar Vapour Bulk, Waystyx, Ewers Tonkunst, Electroshock, Mechanoise Labs and Monochrome Vision. [6] [3] They have performed live at festivals and other venues.

Ambient music is a genre of music that emphasizes tone and atmosphere over traditional musical structure or rhythm. It may lack net composition, beat, or structured melody. It uses textural layers of sound that can reward both passive and active listening and encourage a sense of calm or contemplation. The genre is said to evoke an "atmospheric", "visual", or "unobtrusive" quality. Nature soundscapes may be included, and the sounds of acoustic instruments such as the piano, strings and flute may be emulated through a synthesizer.
Coil were an English experimental music group formed in 1982 in London and dissolved in 2005. Initially envisioned as a solo project by musician John Balance, Coil evolved into a full-time project with the addition of his partner and Psychic TV bandmate Peter Christopherson, formerly of pioneering industrial music group Throbbing Gristle. Coil's work explored themes related to the occult, sexuality, alchemy, and drugs while influencing genres such as gothic rock, neofolk and dark ambient. AllMusic called the group "one of the most beloved, mythologized groups to emerge from the British post-industrial scene."

Lester Square is the former lead guitarist for The Monochrome Set. He joined the first incarnation of Adam and the Ants as lead guitarist, after meeting Adam while studying at Hornsey College of Art, writing Ants staples "Fall In" and "Fat Fun" during this period. He left in 1978 to form The Monochrome Set with singer-songwriter Bid, a band cited as "a major influence on the Smiths, Franz Ferdinand, Orange Juice, Fire Engines and a whole host of UK indie and post punk bands." Growing is a drone music/ambient music/noise music band formed in Olympia, Washington, and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. The group was founded in 2001 by Kevin Doria, Joe Denardo, and Zack Carlson (drums). Carlson left following their first album, and the band continued as a duo until 2009, when they recruited Sadie Laska to form a new trio. The group's music has gradually progressed from slow, instrumental drone pieces through works in noise and ambient music toward more propulsive, rhythm driven music. Their live shows are consistently known for being very loud and for playing straight through their set without breaks or banter between songs.

Laskavyi Mai is a Soviet boy band from Moscow founded by Russian songwriter, composer and musician Sergei Kuznetsov. The group's best-known member was Yuri Shatunov, who subsequently went on to some solo success. The group disbanded in 1992. Laskavyi Mai once had been called "the legends of the 80–90s".

Abu Lahab is an experimental music project based in Morocco. It takes its name from Abū Lahab, meaning "Father of Flame", who in Islamic tradition is one of the most prominent leaders in the Quraysh tribe of Banu Hashim and paternal uncle of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Because of the nihilistic and anti-Islamic themes present in his oeuvre, the composer behind Abu Lahab has chosen to remain unidentified.
OvO is an Italian noise rock duo formed by Stefania Pedretti and Bruno Dorella in 2000 in Ravenna, Italy. The two initially planned for the band to be totally improvisation-based with an open lineup. After encouragement from members of their local music scene to become a band and tour, they decided to do so in order to play with Cock ESP, an extreme noise band from Minneapolis. Since, the pair have released eight full-length albums on a variety of international record labels including Load Records, Dio Drone, Bar La Muerte, and Supernatural Cat, among others. The origin of the band's name, OvO, stems from using a piece of the Italian word "nuovo", or new, which creates a palindrome. Decibel Magazine summarizes OvO's 2016 album, Creatura, as "making rhythmic, layered, sludgy noise" and a "David Lynch dance party". The duo has toured extensively across the world, playing over 1000 shows in varied locations including Europe, Asia, North America, and Mexico.

Θ (theta) is a musician originating from Drama, Greece, living in Tromsø, Northern Norway, since 2007. Θ has music influences stretching from DIY hardcore punk to classic experimental musicians like Xenakis. Θ soundtracks dystopic landscapes with dark ambient and drone sounds using noise sources, probabilistic sequencing and some times melodies. His dark and reflective music draws inspiration from interactions on the threshold between nature and technology. Θ conducts sound experiments using metaphysics, biometrics and various sound sources, such as hardware synthesizers, field recordings, recordings of acoustic elements of daily life, such as construction areas, awkward basements and kitchen ware. The result requires focused attention, in order that the listener experiences how "minimalistic cave sounds" manipulate perception.
