The City Controller of Philadelphia is chief auditor for the city of Philadelphia. It conducts audits independent from City Council and the Mayor and provides it to the public. It also provides information on how to improve city operations and use of public resources. [1]
The current city controller is Christy Brady who was appointed by Mayor Jim Kenney after Rebecca Rhynhart resigned. [2]

Rebecca Rhynhart is an American politician from Pennsylvania. A member of the Democratic Party, she serves as the City Controller of Philadelphia. Prior to running for City Controller, Rhynhart worked in Philadelphia city government and in the private sector.
