The Ciurba Mare is a tributary of the Cremeneţ River in Romania.
A tributary or affluent is a stream or river that flows into a larger stream or main stem river or a lake. A tributary does not flow directly into a sea or ocean. Tributaries and the main stem river drain the surrounding drainage basin of its surface water and groundwater, leading the water out into an ocean.

The Cerna River or Cerna Hunedoreană River or Cerna Ardeleană River is a left tributary of the river Mureș in Transylvania, Romania. Its name both in Romanian and Hungarian languages originates from a Slav language, meaning "black (water)". Its source is in the Poiana Ruscă Mountains. It flows through the town Hunedoara and the villages Gura Bordului, Lunca Cernii de Sus, Lunca Cernii de Jos, Hășdău, Dăbâca, Toplița, Cinciș-Cerna, Teliucu Superior, Teliucu Inferior, Peștișu Mare and Sântandrei. It discharges into the Mureș near Deva.
The Ampoi is a river in the Apuseni Mountains, Alba County, western Romania. It is a right tributary of the river Mureș. It flows through the town Zlatna, and joins the Mureș near Alba Iulia. It is fed by several smaller streams, including Grohaș, Trâmpoiele, Ruzina, Valea Mică, Galați, Bebu and Purcăreți on the left side and Valea Petrei, Vâltori, Feneș, Valea lui Bibaț, Valea Albinei, Ampoița and Ighiu on the right side.
