Claire Ann Boyce (born April 25, 1995, in St Louis, Missouri) is a retired American collegiate artistic gymnast. She competed for the Florida Gators women's gymnastics team from 2013 to 2017.
Claire Ann Boyce was born on April 25, 1995, in St Louis, Missouri, to parents, David and Kimberly Boyce. [1] She has two brothers, Brian and Luke. She started gymnastics classes at the age of two and a half, in 1998, at Great American Gymnastics Express. Later, she moved to Diamond Gymnastics and then, in 2005, at the age of ten, she moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, and started training at Dynamo Gymnastics. [2] A year later, Boyce was fourth at the 2006 Level 9 Westerns. [3]
Claire transitioned to Level 10 for the 2007 season; at the age of eleven. She was sixth at States and second at Regionals during the season. [4] At Nationals, she placed fifth in the all-around. [5] Boyce qualified to Junior International Elite status at the May National Elite Qualifier at the Karolyi Ranch. [6] Later in the month, Boyce participated at the American Classic which was, again, held at the Karolyi Ranch. She placed fifth. [7]
In March 2008, Claire's family moved back to Kansas City and so therefore, she started training at Great American Gymnastics Express again. In 2009, Boyce qualified to Junior International Elite status at the Palm Beach Invitational. [8] Boyce won floor at the American Classic. Later, at the U.S. Classic, Claire finished twenty-second in the all-around. [9] She earned a qualification spot to U.S. Nationals. At Nationals, Boyce finished seventeenth after two days of competition. [10] In addition, she placed fourth on floor exercise; missing the bronze medal by just 0.050 points. [11]
On March 2, 2010, her personal website announced that she had moved to Texas Dreams Gymnastics in Coppell, Texas, training under Chris and Kim Zmeskal-Burdette. [12] In June, she participated in the Arizona Elite Qualifier and finished second in the all-around; tying with Jaclyn McCartin. [13] A month later, Boyce competed at the National Elite Qualifier but competed only two events. [14] At the CoverGirl Classic, Boyce placed tenth in the all-around. [15] Her performances at the previous Arizona Elite Qualifier had secured her a qualification spot to Nationals already. At Nationals, following a rough competition, Boyce was twenty-seventh in the all-around. [16]
Early in the season, Boyce was fourth at the Texas Prime Meet. [17] Later, she finished second in the WOGA Classic. [18] In June, she won the Disney National Elite Qualifier and advanced to Senior International Elite status but, however, she was sidelined for most of the season with a back injury. [19] On September 14, 2011, CollegeGymFans.com announced her verbal commitment to the University of Florida and the Florida Gators women's gymnastics team. [20]
After struggling with back issues, Claire decided to drop down to Level 10 for both the 2012 and 2013 seasons. In 2012, she was third at States and second at Regionals. [21] [22] At Nationals, she was the all-around champion for the Senior A division. [23] On November 12, 2012, Claire signed the National Letter of Intent to the Florida Gators program. [24] In 2013, she competed two invitationals but didn't compete once during the Championship season.

Chow's Gymnastics and Dance Institute, commonly referred to as Chow's, is an American women's artistic gymnastics academy based in West Des Moines, Iowa. The academy was founded by Chinese former artistic gymnast Liang Chow. One of the country's most prestigious gymnastics academies, the club has produced Olympic champions, Shawn Johnson and Gabrielle Douglas, and several upcoming elites such as Norah Flatley and Rachel Gowey.
Kyla Briana Ross is a retired American artistic gymnast and current assistant coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks gymnastics team. She is the first female gymnast to win NCAA, World, and Olympic championship titles.
Veronica "Nica" Hults is an American artistic gymnast. She is a former national team member.
Kennedy Baker is a retired American collegiate and artistic gymnast. She competed as an elite gymnast from 2009 through 2013 and has since retired. She had competed in collegiate gymnastics for the Florida Gators.
Ashton Taylor Locklear is a retired American artistic gymnast from North Carolina. She was a member of the gold medal-winning United States team at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, and is a two-time national champion on the uneven bars. Locklear was an uneven bars specialist and was an alternate for the 2016 Summer Olympics U.S. gymnastics team, the Final Five.
Alyssa Lyn Baumann is a retired American artistic gymnast, and has competed for the United States at international events as well as for University of Florida team. Baumann is the 2014 and 2015 United States silver medalist on the balance beam. She was a member of the 2014 World Championship team that won gold.
Elena Arenas is an American artistic gymnast. She qualified to Junior International Elite in 2014 and competed during the 2014 and 2015 Elite seasons. She is currently a freshman being part of the Louisiana State University women's gymnastics team.
Artistic gymnastics is a type of gymnastics in which athletes compete with short routines on various equipment, including bars, beams, rings, pommel horses, vaulting tables, and on a sprung floor. Gymnastics is well-established in the United States, where available programs range from recreational classes, casual summer camps, and children's leagues; to highly competitive collegiate leagues and four national teams. Although this is not unique to the United States, due to the physically demanding nature of the sport there are fewer options for adult gymnastics outside the elite level, although local parks and recreation departments often have limited offerings.
Elizabeth Consuelo LeDuc is a Filipino-American artistic gymnast. She started representing the Philippines in international competition in 2015, but has competed at U.S. domestic competitions as an elite, also.
Amanda Rose Jetter is a former American artistic gymnast. She competed in the NCAA for the University of Alabama's gymnastics team.
Lacy Michele Dagen is an American collegiate artistic gymnast. She competed for the Florida Gators gymnastics team from 2015 to 2017. She currently competes for the Oregon State Beavers gymnastics team.
Sophina Saade DeJesus is an American artistic gymnast and dancer of mixed Puerto Rican and African-American descent. A former elite gymnast, she was a member of the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team from the fall of 2012 to her graduation in 2016.
Emma Malabuyo is an American artistic gymnast. She is a five-time member of the U.S. National Team. She was an alternate for the 2020 Olympic team. She is currently competing for the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team.
Trinity Lemyra Thomas is an American artistic gymnast and a four-time National Team member (2016–20). She was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships, where she also won silver medals in the individual all-around and on the uneven bars, as well as the bronze medalist on balance beam and floor exercise at the 2017 national championships. She is also currently a member of the Florida Gators women's gymnastics team.
Emily Paige Gaskins is an American artistic gymnast. An elite gymnast since 2013, Gaskins was a member of the U.S. Junior National team for three years until 2016. She also made the Senior National Team in 2016.
Leanne Ashley Wong is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the gold medal winning teams at the 2022 World Championships and the 2019 Pan American Games. She is the 2021 World all-around silver medalist, floor exercise bronze medalist, and was an alternate for the 2020 Olympic team.
Olivia Greaves is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team (2018–Present).
Aleah Finnegan is a Filipino-American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the United States' women's national gymnastics team from 2019–21 and was part of the team that won gold at the 2019 Pan American Games. She is currently representing the Philippines in international competition. She is the younger sister of 2012 Olympic alternate Sarah Finnegan.
Konnor McClain is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team. She is the 2022 U.S National Champion and was the 2019 City of Jesolo Trophy and the 2019 U.S. Classic Junior All-Around Champion.
