Claire Thompson is a BDSM author who has published over 85 novels since 1996.

Career

Thompson started her writing career with Sarah's Awakening. [1]

As a writer, Thompson explores the romance of male/female erotic submission, as well as the darker side of the BDSM experience. She has also written a collection of male homosexual BDSM erotic romances. [2] [3]

Thompson has been the recipient of numerous awards for her writing. She received the National Leather Association’s Pauline Réage Novel Award for 2010 for Submission Times Two as well as the Golden Flogger Award (2017) for best BDSM Dark Erotica. [4] [5] She is a prolific writer, currently (2012) writing four novels per year.[ citation needed ]

Previously she has published with Ellora's Cave, Samhain Publishing, Black Lace Series, and others. She created her own imprint, Romance Unbound Publishing, in 2009.[ citation needed ]

Thompson has two children, a son and a daughter. [1] Thompson is a submissive. Thompson lives in New York (state). [15]

Gengoroh Tagame is a pseudonymous Japanese manga artist. He is regarded as the most prolific and influential creator in the gay manga genre. Tagame began contributing manga and prose fiction to Japanese gay men's magazines in the 1980s, after making his debut as a manga artist in the yaoi manga magazine June while in high school. As a student he studied graphic design at Tama Art University, and worked as a commercial graphic designer and art director to support his career as a manga artist. His manga series The Toyed Man, originally serialized in the gay men's magazine Badi from 1992 to 1993, enjoyed breakout success after it was published as a book in 1994. After co-founding the gay men's magazine G-men in 1995, Tagame began working as a gay manga artist full-time.

Emma Holly is American author who specializes in writing erotic romance novels, often with a focus on BDSM. She has written over twenty books and was a finalist for the Romance Writers of America 2004 RITA award for Best Paranormal Romance.

Jessica Rowley Pell Bird Blakemore is an American novelist. Under her maiden name, Jessica Bird, she writes contemporary romance novels, and as J.R. Ward, she writes paranormal romance.
