Tennis Wales (Welsh: Tennis Cymru) is the national governing body for tennis in Wales. It is part of the British tennis governing body, the Lawn Tennis Association. It was founded as the Welsh Lawn Tennis Association (WLTA) in 1887.
The 1886 men's tennis season was composed of the eleventh annual pre-open era tennis circuit incorporating 135 tournaments. The season began in March in Auckland, New Zealand and ended in December in Napier, New Zealand.
The Derbyshire Championships originally known as the Championship of Derbyshire was a men's and women's grass court tennis tournament held at the Buxton Lawn Tennis Club, Buxton, Derbyshire, Great Britain from 1883 to 1953
The East of England Championships also called the East of England Lawn Tennis Championships was a men's and women's grass court tennis tournament founded in 1885 as the Felixstowe Open Lawn Tennis Tournament. In 1889 the event had by this time become a regional level tournament that ran until 1983 when it lost its status as a senior international tour level event. However the championships are still being staged today as the East of England and an LTA British Tour.
The Hampshire Tennis Championships or the Hampshire Championships was a men's and women's grass court tennis event established in 1878 as the Bournemouth CLTC Tournament. In 1906 the Bournemouth tournament was upgraded to a county level event and renamed as Hampshire County Lawn Tennis Championships that ran continuously until 1981.

The Wemyss Bay Tennis Tournament was a men's and women's tennis that featured a series of four tennis events all usually played in August each year at the same venue The tournament/s were all organised by the Inverkip Rovers Lawn Tennis Club, that was staged them annually on the tennis courts at Castle Wemyss, Wemyss Bay, Wemyss Bay, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
The Ashby-de-la-Zouch Open Championships and informally called the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Open was a men's and women's grass court tennis tournament first established in 1900. The championship was first held on courts at the Bath Grounds in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, England. The tournament ran until 1926 when it was suddenly discontinued. It was revived in 1930 and continued till 1939 when it was finally abolished.

Following World War II the tournament was revived in 1949 and continued till 1959 when it was abolished.

The tournament was organised by the Connaught Club and played in Chingford, Essex, England and was held annually until 1890 as part of the LTA Circuit when it was discontinued.
