Clarion School is an American school located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is owned and operated by the Scholars International Group (SIG). [1]

Curriculum

The curriculum of Clarion School was developed using the Bank Street Developmental Interaction Approach framework [2] by Virginia Casper and a team of Bank Street Educators in collaboration with SIG. It was refined by Paul Lieblich, Executive Principal of Scholars International Group.

Clarion School's is aligned with the Common Core Standards. [3] In grades 11 and 12, students are given the option to pursue an International Baccalaureate Diploma.

In addition to focusing on STEAM fields, Clarion School requires students to participate in community service in order to graduate.

STEAM fields are science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, or applied mathematics. STEAM is designed to integrate STEM subjects into various relevant education disciplines. These programs aim to teach students innovation, to think critically and use engineering or technology in imaginative designs or creative approaches to real-world problems while building on students' mathematics and science base. STEAM programs add art to STEM curriculum by drawing on design principles and encouraging creative solutions.

British International School of Washington

The British International School of Washington (BSW) is a non-sectarian, co-educational college preparatory day school located in the Georgetown neighborhood in downtown Washington, D.C. Dubai Scholars Private School is an international private school, located in Al Qusais, Dubai, UAE. The school is managed by the Scholars International Group, and offers the British Curriculum to students ranging from KG1 to Year 13. Founded in 1976 by Madhu Verma, the school is one of the oldest international schools in Dubai. As of December 2016, the school has 1600 students enrolled.

DPS Academy is a private Indian school in Dubai International Academic City, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which is affiliated to ICSE curriculum, Delhi.
