Clarisse Garcia (born December 18, 1984) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the women's basketball team at Charleston Southern University. [1]
Garcia played basketball at Villanova from 2003 to 2007, where she was a walk-on player. During her time at Villanova, she was a three-time member of the dean's list, as well as a three-time Big East All-Academic member.
Garcia began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania, before moving on to Stetson in 2009 as an assistant coach.
Garcia was named the head coach at Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Division II school in Florida in May 2010. She compiled a 15–39 record in two seasons before she stepped down to take an assistant coaching position at Alabama in 2012. [2] She spent one season at Alabama before joining Wake Forest as an assistant. She was also an assistant coach at Auburn from 2016 to 2021. [3]
Garcia was named the head coach at Charleston Southern on May 3, 2021. [4]

Nell Fortner is the current women's college basketball coach at Georgia Tech. She is most well known for leading the 2000 Olympics team to a gold medal. The Charleston Cougars are the varsity intercollegiate athletic teams representing the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. The Cougars compete in NCAA Division I and are currently members of the Colonial Athletic Association. Kyle Neptune is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Villanova Wildcats men's basketball team.
The 2021–22 Fordham Rams men's basketball team represented Fordham University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rams, led by first-year head coach Kyle Neptune, played their home games at Rose Hill Gymnasium in The Bronx, New York as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 16–16, 8–10 in A-10 play to finish in eighth place. They defeated George Washington in the second round of the A-10 tournament before losing to Davidson in the quarterfinals.
