KOA is a commercial radio station licensed to Denver, Colorado. Owned by iHeartMedia, it serves the Denver-Boulder media market. KOA broadcasts a news-talk-sports radio format, and is also the flagship station of the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and Colorado Buffaloes. KGO operates with 50,000 watts, the highest power permitted AM radio stations by the Federal Communications Commission. But it uses a directional antenna to protect the other Class A station on 810 kHz, WGY in Schenectady, New York. Most nights, using a good radio, KGO can be heard throughout the Western United States east to the Rocky Mountains, and in Northern Mexico, Western Canada and Alaska.

In addition, KGO-TV leases part of its building to MyNetworkTV affiliate KRON-TV, but with completely separate operations.

KNTV and KSTS share studios on North 1st Street in the North San Jose Innovation District; KNTV's transmitter is located on San Bruno Mountain.

Owned by the CBS Television Stations subsidiary of ViacomCBS, it is part of a duopoly with CW owned-and-operated station KBCW, also licensed to San Francisco. Both stations share studios at Broadway and Battery Street, just north of San Francisco's Financial District, while KPIX's transmitter is located atop Sutro Tower. In addition to KBCW, KPIX shares its building with formerly co-owned radio stations KCBS, KFRC-FM, KITS, KLLC, KRBQ and KZDG, although they use a different address number for Battery Street.

He also hosted The Gene Burns Program, a political and social commentary show, that aired weekday afternoons on NewsTalk 810. Mr. Burns moved to Talk910 on iHeartRadio but was taken ill before he could begin at the company. The Dining Around program became Dining Around with Joel Riddell and the political program was taken over by Gil Gross, a longtime host from KGO Radio, and a friend of the late Gene Burns.
