Clifton Cricket Club is an English cricket club based on Manchester Road (A666) in Clifton, Salford.

The club were founder members of the Greater Manchester Cricket League (GMCL) in 2016 and play in that league's Premier division, finishing 3rd in the inaugural. [1] season.

Clifton's current Captain is former Lancashire and Derbyshire all rounder and wicketkeeper Gareth Cross.

Oldham Cricket Club is a cricket team based at The Pollards in the Watersheddings area of Oldham, Greater Manchester, England.

Ashton Cricket Club is an English cricket team, based in the town of Ashton-under-Lyne in Tameside, Greater Manchester. The club plays its home games at Rayner Lane, and competed in the Central Lancashire Cricket League [CLL] from 1928 to 2015 doing the quadruple of winning the 1st and 2nd XI Championships, Wood Cup and Aggregate Cup in 1940. The club last won the prestigious Wood Cup in 1964 and 1965. From 2015 - 2017 the CLL amalgamated with the Saddleworth League to form the short-lived Pennine Cricket League. From 2018 the club will play in the Greater Manchester Cricket League [GMCL].

Radcliffe Cricket Club are an English cricket team currently playing in Radcliffe, Bury, Greater Manchester in the Greater Manchester Cricket League. There are also many junior teams from the ages of under 11's To u18’s.

Stand Cricket Club, established in 1853, The SCG is situated between Hamilton Road and Higher Lane in Whitefield, Bury, Greater Manchester. The Club were founder members of the North Western Cricket league which formed into the Lancashire and Cheshire Cricket League until 1992 when they became a member of the Central Lancashire League between 1993 and 2004 in which Stand CC had limited success(highest position 4th 1995), moved into the Lancashire County League for the 2005 season. Since joining the LCL the club have won the Walkden Cup (2008), the Hulme Trophy (2009), the 2nd XI Last Six Competition (2010) and the 3rd XI League, the Bryden Trophy. Stand are Founder members of the Greater Manchester Cricket League in 2016.Winning the Second Division as champions and the First Division Title in 2018.

They were originally recruited so that the league would return to sixteen member clubs, but Stand later announced their resignation for the 2005 season.

Steven Philip Cheetham is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler who plays for Lancashire. He was born in Oldham, Greater Manchester, and attended Bury Grammar School. He has a fabulous sister, Caroline. Cheetham, who also plays local league cricket for Clifton Cricket Club, made his Second XI debut back in 2004. Cheetham is a right arm fast/medium bowler and a lower order batsman. He spent six months on 5 separate occasions over in Australia playing for Cheltenham Cricket Club, a local Melbourne side where he took 54 wickets at an average of 9.80, including a hat-trick in the semi final against Old Mentonians. Steven is a keen football fan and is a season ticket holder at Oldham Athletic.

Clifton Country Park

Clifton Country Park is a local nature reserve in the Irwell Valley at Clifton, Greater Manchester, North West England. Situated next to a double bend in the River Irwell, it is north east of the Manchester to Preston railway line and the A666, Manchester Road, Clifton where it is accessible via Clifton House Road opposite Clifton Cricket Club. Junction 16 of the M60 motorway is only about ¼ mile away to the south east.

Ashton Ladysmith Cricket Club are an open age English cricket team, based in the town of Ashton-under-Lyne in Tameside, Greater Manchester. The club plays its home games at the Ladysmith Sports Centre on Rose Hill Road, and competes in the North Manchester Cricket League. The club was formerly known as Ashton St. James Cricket Club and played their games on St Albans Avenue in Ashton-under-Lyne.
