Cloud Chamber is the second collaborative album between Japanese experimental band Boris and psychedelic guitarist Michio Kurihara. Unlike the previous album Rainbow , this release does not contain vocals and resembles the collaborative efforts between Boris and noise musician Merzbow. It was released in a limited pressing of 1500 copies [1] on CD by Pedal Records.

She's So Heavy is a split EP by Japanese artists Wata (Boris) and Ai Aso. It was released in 2007 by Diwphalanx Records on 7" and limited to 1500 copies. The 7" comes with a 60-page full color photo book. Ai Aso's song is a King Crimson cover from the album Islands. Wata's side is a cover of "天使" (Angel) a Masashi Kitamura song released in Canis Lupus' 1990 album "Aqua Perspective".

Smile is the fourteenth full-length album by Japanese band Boris. It was released through Diwphalanx Records in early 2008, featuring guest musicians Michio Kurihara of Ghost and Stephen O'Malley of Sunn O))), both of whom have collaborated with Boris in the past. Shortly after this initial release, the album was released by American label Southern Lord with a slightly different track listing, different artwork, and an almost entirely different sound. Smile -Live at Wolf Creek- is the second live album by Japanese experimental band Boris. It was released through Daymare Recordings On November 21, 2008, featuring guest musician Michio Kurihara of Ghost. It was recorded live in Wolf Creek, California, in May 2008.

Michio Kurihara is a Japanese guitarist who has played with Ai Aso, Cosmic Invention, Hazama, Ensemble Pearl, Overhang Party, Onna, Ghost, Damon & Naomi, Boris, Yura Yura Teikoku, YBO2, and The Stars, among others. He has also released a solo album, Sunset Notes.

Boris Variations is a compilation of previously recorded and re-recorded audio music, as well as live video music by Japanese band, Boris. The CD comprises selections from six Boris full-length releases that generally keep to their 'heavy rock' style, as well as one single b-side. Five of the 13 songs have been re-recorded. Production credits on the CD are for Boris. Besides the three regular members of the band - Takeshi, Wata and Atsuo - Michio Kurihara also plays guitar on tracks 2, 6, 7, 9, 11 and 12. All songs are composed by Boris, except for track 6, which is by Boris and Michio Kurihara.

The album was released on May 24, 2011, through the label Sargent House. Its original release date was April 26, but this was pushed back. This album has the same name and cover style as their album released in 2002 called Heavy Rocks, although the cover is purple instead of orange. The band brought back these elements because they "seek to redefine 'heavy' music in a culmination of the band's tireless efforts over the past two decades".

It was released exclusively in Japan on March 20, 2013 through Daymare Recordings, collecting three previously released volumes as well as a newly recorded volume in the same style. This is currently the only way to get any of the volumes on CD.
