Planed Plant was a strand of Welsh-language television programming for children broadcast by S4C. It first aired in 1 November 1982.

Testament: The Bible in Animation is a 1996 British-Russian-Welsh Christian animated series that was produced by and shown on Sianel 4 Cymru (S4C). It was also shown on the BBC. It featured animated versions of stories from the Bible, each story using its own unique style of animation, including stop-motion animation. It ran for one series of nine episodes in the United Kingdom and won one Emmy, with three nominations, in the United States. It includes the song "Adiemus" as its intro.

Cyw is the name of a Welsh-language children's television block from S4C, which launched on 23 June 2008.

Rocky Hollow was a 1983 stop motion animation children's television series made in Wales and produced by Rockscene Ltd. The show was narrated by Peter Sallis, who later became the voice of Wallace in Wallace and Gromit. This was the first children's television show to be produced by Bumper Films for S4C. The firm later made Fireman Sam, Joshua Jones & Starhill Ponies for the BBC. These were in production with S4C, Mike Young Productions and Prism Art and Design Ltd.

The Ballad of Immortal Joe is a Canadian animated short film, which premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Hector Herrera and written and produced by Pazit Cahlon, the film is a tribute to the cowboy poetry of Robert W. Service. The film, the third installment in Herrera's "Beastly Bards" series of animated shorts, is narrated by actor Kenneth Welsh, and soundtracked by the alternative country band The Sadies.
