Coastal Dreams is a 24-episode online telenovela produced by NBC in 2007. [1]

The series stars Danica Stewart, Tanee McCall, Elena Campbell-Martinez, Kam Heskin, Charlie Koznick, Ken Luckey, and Noah Schuffman. It centers two women, Zoe and Stacey, whose beach trip takes a perilous turn. Rick Draughon serves as the executive producer, writer, and creator of the series, which is directed by Mark Cole. This show aired every Tuesday and Thursday at nbc.com.

Synopsis

Zoe (Danica Stewart) needs to escape her Texas hometown after her boyfriend attempts to kill her. She grabs her best friend Stacey, and heads to California to visit her wealthy cousin April. They stay in April's seaside mansion and meet April's boyfriend Christian and the local deputy, Will. Things get worse quickly when Zoe starts receiving menacing text messages from her ex-boyfriend and the locals reveal ulterior motives.

Cast

Danica Stewart as Zoe: Hailing from Plano, Texas, Zoe is a jewelry designer. When her boyfriend Sebastian started stalking her and tried to kill her during their senior year of college, she had to get out of Texas. Her cousin April invited Zoe and her best friend Stacey to escape to her house in Pacific Shores, California, for the summer.

Tanee McCall as Stacey: Zoe's lifelong best friend, Stacey is smart and uptight. Stacey plans on working her way through law school, which she's set to start in the fall. Stacey has to find a job to afford the trip to Pacific Shores.

Kam Heskin as April: Ex-model and businesswoman April thinks of Zoe as more of a little sister than a cousin. They spent every summer together as kids, and April in the Fox family's coastal mansion. April's mother left when she was a baby, and her father Gabriel died a few years before the beginning of the series, leaving her an orphan with a billion-dollar fortune.

Charlie Koznick as Christian: Christian is a mysterious surfer who came to Pacific Shores a few summers before the series starts. Having enrolled in the oceanography program at the local college and made friends in Deputy Will Carpenter, Chris works as a carpenter and handyman. He does odd jobs for April, and develops a connection with Zoe.

Ken Luckey as Will: Born and raised in Pacific Shores, Will is easygoing and grew up idolizing his father, the town police chief. Following his dad, Will became a police officer. Will is perpetually unlucky in dating.

Mo Harris is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, who made her first appearance on 18 September 2000, played by Laila Morse. Mo was also played by Lorraine Stanley in the 2004 soap "bubble" Pat and Mo, delving into her past with Pat Butcher. Mo is a highly comical character and her tendency for dodgy deals bring much of the show's light entertainment. In July 2012, Morse's contract was not renewed, but she was not immediately written out of the series and continued to make occasional appearances until 21 January 2016. Kathleen "Kat" Mitchell is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Jessie Wallace. She was also played by Kate Peck in a flashback in 2001 and Sumar-Elise Sandford in a flashback in 2018. Kat is the second eldest Slater family sister and first appeared on 18 September 2000. Kat's usual dress is very short skirts and leopard-print tops, with much make-up and heavy fake tan. Her initial stint saw her involved in many storylines, most significantly in a plot twist that sees her supposedly sister Zoe Slater, revealed to be her daughter after she was raped by her uncle Harry Slater as a child. Kat and Zoe's relationship is tested several times, and a feud forms when they compete against each other for the affection of Anthony Trueman. Stacey Slater is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, portrayed by Lacey Turner. She first appears in episode 2826, originally broadcast on 1 November 2004. The character is introduced as a feisty and troublesome teenager and extension to the already established Slater family. She was created by scriptwriter Tony Jordan with Turner in mind. Producers explored the character's backstory with the introduction of her mother, Jean Slater, who has bipolar disorder. They then paired Stacey with Bradley Branning and writers developed a series of problems for their marriage, including an abortion and Stacey's scandalous affair with Bradley's father, Max Branning. In 2009, the character was placed in an issue-led storyline when she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder; the show worked with various charities to develop the story. Writers also incorporated Stacey in the "Who Killed Archie?" plot and revealed her as his killer in a live episode, which was followed by a two-hander episode between Stacey and Max. Stacey became pregnant by Ryan Malloy and gave birth to their daughter Lily. This led to a feud between Stacey, and Ryan's wife Janine Malloy, and culminated in Stacey fleeing Walford on the episode broadcast on 25 December 2010, to avoid imprisonment after Janine stabbed herself and framed Stacey for attempted murder. Turner's return was announced on 19 December 2013, and Stacey reappears in the episode originally broadcast on 7 February 2014 before departing again on 24 March 2014. She made a permanent return on 1 September 2014.

Georgia "George" Fayne is a character in the popular Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series. She is one of Nancy's best friends and cousin of Bess Marvin. Her birth name is Georgia, although no one calls her that except her parents.

Zoe Carpenter is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Zoë Lister. The character first appeared on-screen on 1 September 2006, as one of three new students at Hollyoaks Community College. It was announced in 2009 that Lister had quit her role in order to pursue other projects; she subsequently left the series in January 2010. During Zoe's time in Hollyoaks she has been portrayed as a bubbly tomboy who often makes the wrong choices in life and has had a number of failed relationships. In March 2017, it was reported that Lister would be reprising the role and it was later confirmed that she would return for Amy Barnes' funeral. Her return aired on 24 April 2017.

Martin Fowler is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders. The character was played by Jon Peyton-Price from Martin's introduction 1985 until 1996, and by James Alexandrou from 1996 until 2007. When Alexandrou took over the role, Martin became part of the regular cast, and was featured in prominent storylines such as sleeping with Sonia Jackson and getting her pregnant with their daughter Chloe/Bex Fowler ; developing a romantic crush on Zoe Slater, which is not reciprocated, killing Sonia’s former fiancé Jamie Mitchell after running him over in his car, which results in Martin being imprisoned for Jamie's death and subsequently feuding with Jamie’s relative Phil Mitchell ; enduring a problematic marriage with Sonia after their wedding; being stalked by Sarah Cairns, and coping with the deaths of both his brother Mark Fowler and their mother Pauline Fowler. <i>Free Rein</i> British television series

Free Rein is a British drama television series created and written by Vicki Lutas and Anna McCleery. It stars Jaylen Barron, Navia Robinson and Freddy Carter. Produced in the UK by Lime Pictures, the ten-part Series 1 premiered on Netflix on 23 June 2017. Although the island where the series is set is fictional and unnamed, it is based on Anglesey, Wales and is referred to as "an island off the coast of England" throughout the programme. The second series premiered on 6 July 2018. Shortly afterwards, Free Rein was renewed for a third series, as well as two feature-length special episodes. Free Rein: The 12 Neighs of Christmas, premiered on 7 December 2018. The second special, Free Rein: Valentine’s Day, premiered on 1 February 2019. The third series, consisting of 10 episodes, premiered on 6 July 2019. In January 2021, cast member Céline Buckens confirmed that the series had concluded.

Slater family (<i>EastEnders</i>) UK soap opera family, created 2000

The Slater family are a fictional family from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, that have appeared since Episode 1,997, first broadcast in September 2000. The family are introduced as a central family unit, originally consisting of father Charlie Slater, grandmother Mo Harris, Charlie's daughters, Kat Slater, Lynne Slater, Little Mo Morgan and Kat's teenage daughter Zoe Slater, and Lynne's partner Garry Hobbs. A fifth sister, Belinda Peacock, was introduced one year later. The family were the eighth to be introduced in the soap's history, replacing the di Marco family who departed during the previous month. The Slaters were created by Tony Jordan and introduced by John Yorke. The Slater sisters were cast in an improvisation session. In their first years on the show, the family were involved in storylines about child sexual abuse and domestic violence.
