Coffee with Lahiru and Muditha is a Sri Lankan talk-show aired on Swarnavahini, hosted by Lahiru Mudalige and Muditha Wijesundara. The program is modeled after the Indian talk-show Koffee with Karan.
At present, the show airs on Sundays at 10.00 a.m. on Swarnavahini. Its first episode was aired on May 11, 2008 with popular musician Iraj Weeraratne and actress Anarkalli Aakarsha being the guests. It is hosted by two regular presenters on Swarnavahini, Lahiru Mudalige of Hada Raendi Paeya fame and Muditha Wijesundara, who had previously hosted Dutu Nodutu.
The show is the first of its type in Sri Lanka and therefore brings a novel experience to the viewers. Every week, two celebrities, mostly from the same field are invited to a spend a relaxing but entertaining ninety minutes, sharing their opinions and experiences with each other. The program is primarily divided into three segments. In the first segment, named "Like What," ten questions related to a number of topics are directed at each celebrity, and the answers given by each are often compared with one another. In the second, "Hard Talk," the hosts pose a number of tough questions to the celebrities, mostly related to their own experience in the field, and give them the opportunity to respond to criticisms. In the final segment, "Match It," coffee together with refreshments are served at the celebrities. While they enjoy the coffee, the show presents a number of pre-recorded clips of what each celebrity thinks of his/her colleague. In this, they answer questions such as the date they first met each other, their views on each other's talents, etc.
To-date, the show has invited celebrities from a variety of different fields ranging from music, TV, cinema to sports and politics.
Hollywood Squares is an American game show in which two contestants compete in a game of tic-tac-toe to win cash and prizes. The show piloted on NBC in 1965 and the regular series debuted in 1966 on the same network. The board for the game is a 3 × 3 vertical stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity seated at a desk and facing the contestants. The stars are asked questions by the host and the contestants judge the truth of their answers to gain squares in the right pattern to win the game.

The show debuted on ABC Radio on October 27, 1947, moved to CBS Radio debuting October 5, 1949, and went to NBC-TV and NBC Radio on October 4, 1950. Because of its simple format, it was possible to broadcast the show on both radio and television but not simultaneously. Many of the laughs on the television show were evoked by Groucho's facial reactions and other visual gimmicks; the two versions were slightly different. The last episode in a radio format aired on June 10, 1960. The series continued on television for another year, recording a season on September 22, 1960 with a new title, The Groucho Show.

The show debuted on 19 November 2004, and has aired six seasons since then, over a span of seventeen years. The show is distributed by Disney Star; its first six seasons aired on Star World India (2004–2019) with the second season being simulcasted on Star One (2007). In 2022, Koffee with Karan moved over to Disney+ Hotstar as a streaming exclusive under the service's label and content hub, Hotstar Specials, with the seventh season airing on the streaming platform and Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment replacing Banijay Group's SOL India as the show's production company. It is the second longest-running talk show after Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan on Indian Hindi-language television, as well as one of the most watched Indian English-language television shows. Started as a child artist, Mudalige became one of the popular television presenters in Sri Lanka by hosting the musical programs Hithata Wadina Eka, Handa Radi Peya and chat program Coffee with Lahiru and Muditha in a career spanning more than two decades. Apart from that, he is also the founder of popular YouTube channel Hari TV. He pioneered in establishing talk-show based subscribe community in Sri Lanka on social media, mainly on YouTube and bringing the concept of “Good Journalism on Social Media”. Apart from that, he introduced legacy media models within social media platforms.
