Coliseo de Arecibo Manuel G. Iguina Reyes (English: Manuel Iguina Coliseum) is an indoor sporting arena located in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The capacity of the arena is 13,000 persons. [1] The Coliseo Manuel Iguina is also known as Coliseo de Arecibo. It is managed by Capitanes de Arecibo Interprise. It is the home of Capitanes de Arecibo basketball and volleyball team. The basketball team is a member of Baloncesto Superior Nacional.
Arecibo is a city and municipality on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, located north of Utuado and Ciales; east of Hatillo; and west of Barceloneta and Florida. It is about 50 miles (80 km) west of San Juan, the capital city. Arecibo is the largest municipality in Puerto Rico by area, and it is the core city of the Arecibo Metropolitan Statistical Area and part of the greater San Juan Combined Statistical Area. It is spread over 18 barrios and Arecibo Pueblo. Its population in 2020 was 87,754.
Cangrejeros de Santurce is the name of several franchises sanctioned by the professional basketball league Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) of Puerto Rico. Named after Santurce, all versions have played out of San Juan. The first franchise was founded in 1918 and began active play in the BSN in 1956, winning titles in 1962 and 1968 before folding. The second iteration of the Cangrejeros played their home games at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum under the ownership of music industry executive Angelo Medina, winning five championships in a six-year span and another in 2007. This version remained active for another decade after winning its last championship. In 2021, a new franchise was approved under the name of Cangrejeros under the ownership of artist Bad Bunny and urban music entrepreneurs Noah Assad and Jonathan García. Teams bearing the name of Cangrejeros have won 8 championships and appeared in 14 BSN finals.
Alfred "Butch" Lee Jr. is a Puerto Rican former professional basketball player. Lee was the first Puerto Rican and first Latin American-born athlete to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA), accomplishing this after being selected in the first round of the 1978 NBA draft.

The Capitanes de Arecibo are a Puerto Rican professional basketball team based in Arecibo that competes in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) league. In 2010, the team also had the distinction to play in the Premier Basketball League (PBL) under the name Capitanes de Puerto Rico. The team began play in the league in 1946. Home games are held at Manuel Iguina Coliseum, which the team shares with the Capitanes de Arecibo men's volleyball team.
José Santori Coll was a Puerto Rican basketball player and coach. Santori was also, for a short period late in his life, a bachata singer; he recorded an album, named El Sentimiento de Fufi, which was musically directed by Harry Fraticelli, during 2011.
Mario Morales Coliseum is an indoor sporting arena that is located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. It used mainly for basketball, but it can also be used for table tennis or volleyball. The coliseum's seating capacity is 5,500 seats. Apart from the Guaynabo Mets' home games, the coliseum is also used for boxing, roller derby and musical acts. It features a large painting of Mario Morales on the entrance.
Angelo Reyes is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player. Reyes was born in New York he has played in the United States American Basketball Association, the Premier Basketball League, the Dominican Republic Liga Nacional de Baloncesto, the Mexico Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional, the Uruguayan Federacion Uruguaya de Basquetbol FUBB, the Australian National Basketball League, and the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. Reyes has been a member of the Puerto Rican National Team since 2006.
Walter Wallace Hodge Muñoz is a Puerto Rican-U.S. Virgin Islander professional basketball player for Capitanes de Arecibo of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). Internationally, Hodge plays with the senior U.S. Virgin Islands national basketball team, due to eligibility arising from his Virgin Islander grandfather. After being a reserve point guard in his first two seasons with the Florida Gators, he became the starting point guard for the two-time defending national champions in the 2007–08 season. On June 5, 2013, in appreciation for his contribution to Zielona Góra, his jersey number was retired.

It is used mostly for basketball and was the home arena of Caguas Creoles of the National Superior Basketball league. The capacity of the arena is 10,000 spectators. Also the Coliseo is the home ground for Criollas de Caguas volleyball team from Liga de Voleibol Superior Femenino.
Andrés Guillermo Rodríguez Fernández is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player, who last played for Atenienses de Manatí of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional. He was born in Puerto Rico, where he debuted as a professional basketball played for the Criollos de Caguas in 1999. Rodríguez attended University of Louisville and American University, completing his college education in 2004. Afterwards, he migrated to Europe, where he first played for Olimpija Ljubljana and had his best season by leading the Liga ACB in assists per game in 2013 with Obradoiro CAB. While concurrently playing in Puerto Rico, Rodríguez won three BSN championships for two different teams. Internationally, he is a member of the Puerto Rico national basketball team.

Raymond Dalmau Coliseum is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. The coliseum is home to the Piratas de Quebradillas, which competes in Puerto Rico's Baloncesto Superior Nacional. The Coliseum had its grand opening in 2008, hosted by Puerto Rican governor Aníbal Acevedo Vilá and the mayor of Quebradillas, Heriberto Vélez Vélez. Basketball and badminton events for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games were held in this coliseum.
