The Seram Sea or Ceram Sea is one of several small seas between the scattered islands of Indonesia. It is a section of the Pacific Ocean with an area of approximately one hundred twenty thousand square kilometres (46,000 sq mi) located between Buru and Seram, which are two of the islands once called the South Moluccas. These islands are the native habitat of plants long coveted for their use as spices, such as nutmeg, cloves, and black peppercorns, and the seas surrounding them were busy shipping routes. The Seram Sea is also the habitat of several species of tropical goby and many other fish. Like many other small Indonesian seas, the Seram Sea is rocky and very tectonically active.

Gordon Glacier is an Antarctic glacier of at least 24 nautical miles in length flowing in a northerly direction beginning in the Crossover Pass, flowing through the Shackleton Range to finally meet the Slessor Glacier. Crosswell Glacier is a glacier 10 nautical miles long, flowing north-northeast from Mount Shinn between Sullivan Heights and Bearskin Ridge, in the central part of the Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. Together with Patton and Pulpudeva Glaciers, it enters Ellen Glacier northwest of Mamarchev Peak and southeast of Mount Jumper.

Trollkjelen Crevasse Field is a crevasse field about 12 nautical miles (22 km) long in the Fimbul Ice Shelf, lying immediately off the northeast side of Trollkjelneset Headland in Queen Maud Land. Parry Patch is a shoal lying in Nelson Strait 3 nautical miles (6 km) northwest of Harmony Point, Nelson Island, in the South Shetland Islands. The name Parry's Straits or Perry's Straits was applied to Nelson Strait by the British sealer Richard Sherratt in 1820–21, but the name did not become established. Parry Patch was applied by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1961 to preserve Sherratt's name in the area.

Herd Point is a point which forms the west side of Ferguson Bay at the south end of Thule Island, in the South Sandwich Islands. It was roughly charted by a Russian expedition under Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen in 1819–20. It was recharted in 1930 by Discovery Investigations personnel on the Discovery II and named for R.D. Herd of Ferguson Brothers, Port Glasgow, Scotland, the builders of the Discovery II.

Twitcher Rock is a rock in the southern part of Douglas Strait, 55 meters high and 140 to 150 meters in diameter, lying 0.7 nautical miles (1.3 km) east of Hewison Point, the southeast point of Thule Island in the South Sandwich Islands. Discovered by a Russian expedition under Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen in 1820, it was charted in 1930 by DI personnel on the British ship Discovery II. They named it for John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, who was popularly known by the nickname Jemmy Twitcher.
