Arlington Heights is a village in Cook County in the U.S. state of Illinois. A northwestern suburb of Chicago, it lies about 25 miles (40 km) northwest of the city's downtown. As of the 2020 census, the village's population was 77,676, making it the 15th-most-populous municipality in Illinois.

John Jay Hall is a 15-story building located on the southeastern extremity of the Morningside Heights campus of Columbia University in New York City, on the northwestern corner of 114th St. and Amsterdam Avenue. The Chicago Southland is a region comprising the south and southwest suburbs of the City of Chicago in the U.S. state of Illinois. Home to roughly 2.5 million residents, this region has been known as the Southland by the local populace and regional media for over 20 years. Despite this relatively recent term, some older native Southlanders and current local advertisements colloquially refer to the Southland as the Southside, meaning on the southern side/border of Chicago as extended into the suburbs since some of them previously lived on Chicago's Southside but moved to the suburbs during post WWII white flight.

Bloom Trail High School is a public high school in Steger, Illinois, a south suburb of Chicago, in the United States. It is part of Bloom Township High School District 206. Originally the Bloom Township Freshman-Sophomore Division, in 1976 it became a four-year high school and was renamed Bloom Trail High School. Sports for both Bloom High School and Bloom Trail High School are combined since 1995. Football, volleyball, basketball, track, games/practices are held at Bloom Trail.
Steger School District 194 is a school district based in the village of Steger, Illinois, a Chicago suburb located in the extreme southern reaches of Cook County, and the northern portion of Will County. The district is composed of one middle school and three elementary schools; all schools are located in Steger with the exception of one. District students in grades that range between kindergarten and fourth grade attend one of the three elementary schools. Two elementary schools, named Eastview Elementary School and Parkview Elementary School, are located in the village of Steger; they are directed by, respectively, principals Janet Inglese and Stephanie Winborn. A third elementary school, Saukview Elementary School, is located in the nearby village South Chicago Heights and is headed by principal Jeff Nelson. All three elementary schools feed their graduates into Columbia Central School, where the students will remain between grades six and eight under jurisdiction of principal Mike Smith. The district superintendent is Jeff Stawick.
Cahokia Heights is a city in St. Clair County, Illinois, United States. It was founded on May 6, 2021, by the merger of the villages of Cahokia and Alorton and the city of Centreville. On May 6, 2021, Curtis McCall Sr. was sworn in as the city's first mayor, having run unopposed.
