Communist Unification

Communist Unification (Danish : Kommunistisk Samling, KS) was a communist organisation in Denmark. It was founded in November 2005, following a split from the Communist Party in Denmark. It claimed 42 members at the time of its foundation. [1]

In November 2006, KS merged with Communist Party of Denmark (Marxist-Leninist) and formed the Communist Party. At the time of the dissolution of KS, the organisation claimed to have 85 members. [2]

Nasjonal Samling was a Norwegian far-right political party active from 1933 to 1945. It was the only legal party of Norway from 1942 to 1945. It was founded by former minister of defence Vidkun Quisling and a group of supporters such as Johan Bernhard Hjort – who led the party's paramilitary wing (Hirden) for a short time before leaving the party in 1937 after various internal conflicts. The party celebrated its founding on 17 May, Norway's national holiday, but was founded on 13 May 1933. Nasjonal Samling was made illegal and disbanded at the end of World War II, on 8 May 1945.

Marxist-Leninistiska Kampförbundet, full name Marxist-leninistiska kampförbundet för Sveriges kommunistiska parti, was a communist political organization in Sweden formed in 1970 by Vänsterns Ungdomsförbund, the youth organization of VPK. Within VUF several ultraleftist tendencies had surged during the 1960s, orientating it toward Maoism. VUF broke with VPK in 1968, and in 1970 they formed MLK. MLK was ideologically almost identical with the larger KFML/SKP, with Marxism–Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought as the ideological backbone. MLK supported KFML/SKP in elections.

Oyggjaframi (marx-leninistar) or OFML was a communist organization in the Faroe Islands. The party was established in 1972 when it split from Oyggjaframi.

Young Communist League of Sweden (Marxist–Leninists) was the youth organization of the KFML(r)/KPML(r) during 1972–1978. As SKU(ml) was formed two front organizations of KFML(r), the Solidarity Front for the People of Indochina and Clarté (m-l) were merged into SKU(ml).

Danish Unity is a political party in Denmark, founded in 1936 by Arne Sørensen. In 1939 the National Unity party, established by Victor Pürschel in 1938, merged with the party. It contested elections in 1939, 1943, 1945, 1947, April 1953 and then once more in 1964. It remains as a political organisation.

Kommunistisk Universitetslag (KUL), founded in 1973, was a revolutionary student organisation with a basis in the philosophy and social economics departments of the University of Oslo in the 1970s. They had a theoretical schooling in Marxism. KUL considered the AKP(m-l) as a parochial organisation and stated that a Marxist analysis meant that individual groups must join together to form a reactionary class. They also criticised the AKP(m-l) for their nationalism and militarism, and defined themselves to the left of the party. KUL published the university newspaper Gnisten.
