Connor Morgans (born 26 November 1999) is a Welsh radio DJ and producer working across radio and podcasts, currently broadcasting on Radio Cardiff.

Early life

Morgans was born in Swansea, Wales and grew up in Pencoed, Wales. [2] [4]

Career

He currently presents the weekend breakfast programme for Radio Cardiff on the current Welsh music scene, playing emerging artists. [5] [6] He has been broadcasting on the station since 2017. [7] [8]

Morgans previously presented for Bridgend's Hospital Radio, he won Gold for Best Male Presenter at the HBA UK Awards in 2022. [9] [2]

In August 2022, Bridgend's Hospital Radio nominated Morgans as a trustee making him the youngest trustee in hospital radio. [10]

Morgans curates an event series of artist performances titled Adlais (Welsh for echo). The first event was held at The Moon in Cardiff in September 2023. [11]

Personal life

In March 2022, Morgans married a Wales Rugby Union shirt on the Capital South Wales drive-time show with Josh & Kally during an on-air stunt. [4]

The Welsh Varsity is an annual sporting event contested by Cardiff University and Swansea University, usually in early April. Cardiff City Blue Dragons were a rugby league team formed in 1981. Their home ground was initially Ninian Park, which was also used by Cardiff City F.C. The club spent three seasons in Cardiff before relocating to Bridgend in 1984 as the Bridgend Blue Dragons, and were finally wound up in 1986. The team colours were royal blue shirts with a yellow and white vee. The shorts and socks were also blue.
