The Corb river (Catalan: el riu Corb or el Riucorb) is a small river in Catalonia, Spain. [1]
It rises at a spring near the village of Rauric, just west of the town of Santa Coloma de Queralt in central Catalonia, flows westwards past the villages of Llorac, Vallfogona de Riucorb, Guimerà, Ciutadilla, Nalec, Rocafort de Vallbona, Sant Martí de Maldà, Maldà, Belianes, then veers northwards across the plain where it disappears into a network of irrigation canals. Its original course collects water again near the town of Bellpuig, then flows west until it joins the river Segre at Vilanova de la Barca, north-east of Lleida city. The Segre flows into the Ebro, one of Spain's major rivers, which enters the Mediterranean in the far south of Catalonia.
The Segre is a river tributary to the Ebro with a basin comprising territories across three states: France, Andorra, and Spain.
La Seu d'Urgell is a town located in Alt Urgell county in Alt Pirineu, Catalonia, Spain. The town is also the head of its judicial district and the seat of the Bishop of Urgell, one of the co-princes of Andorra. It is located the most populated town of the region, with 17.4% of its population. La Seu d'Urgell and Puigcerdà together have 30% of the population of the area.

Oliana is a municipality in the comarca of the Alt Urgell in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the Segre valley immediately below the Oliana reservoir. There is a factory of domestic electrical appliances in the town, and the presence of non-farming employment has meant that Oliana has escaped the depopulation experienced by most municipalities in north-west Catalonia. It is currently the second-largest town in the Alt Urgell, behind the comarcal capital La Seu d'Urgell. The town is served by the C-14 road between Ponts and La Seu d'Urgell.
Fígols i Alinyà is a municipality in the comarca of the Alt Urgell in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the Segre river between Coll de Nargó and Organyà, just above the Oliana reservoir. The municipality was formed in 1972 by the merger of the municipalities of Fígols d'Organyà and Alinyà: the ajuntament is in Fígols. A local road links the municipality with Organyà.
Organyà is a municipality in the comarca of the Alt Urgell in Catalonia. It is situated on the right bank of the Segre river below the Trespons gorge, and is served by the C-14 road between Ponts and La Seu d'Urgell. There is a monument to the Homilies d'Organyà, a 12th or 13th century collection of sermons which is the oldest literary text in the Catalan language to survive in its entirety, discovered in the town in 1904.
Artesa de Segre is a municipality in the comarca of the Noguera in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the valley of the Segre river, between Ponts and Balaguer. The municipal territory extends as far as the confluence of the Segre with the Boix. The Urgell canal runs through the municipality to the south of the Segre. The municipality is served by the C-1313 road between Balaguer and Ponts, and is linked to Agramunt by the L-302 road.

The Urgell canal provides irrigation water for growing cereals and forage plants. The municipality is linked to Lleida and Balaguer by the C-1313 road and a FGC railroad.

The Flamicell, or Flamisell is a river in the province of Pallars, Catalonia, Spain. It is 34 km long and is a tributary of the Noguera Pallaresa. This river is known for the variation in flow depending on the time of the year and the meteorological conditions. The flow is also very strong because it brings water from many different lakes, one of them being the Lake Gento. In 1937, the flow was so strong that it destroyed the hydroelectric station in Cabdella and brought to La Pobla de Segur a flow of 700 m³/s.
