Cornitos is an Indian snack brand [1] known for its nacho crisps and other snack products. Established in 2009, [2] Cornitos has become a significant player in the Indian snack food industry. Cornitos has a strong market presence in India and is expanding its footprint globally. [3]

History

Cornitos was founded by Vikram Agarwal [4] [5] under the umbrella of Greendot Health Foods Pvt. Ltd. Agarwal was inspired to start the brand after trying tortilla chips for the first time while visiting the United States. [6] The brand was created with the vision of introducing Mexican-inspired nacho crisps to the Indian market, a niche that was largely unexplored at the time. [6]

At its inception, the brand marketed towards a younger, health conscious demographic. [6]

The brand redesigned their packaging in 2011. [6] By 2021, the brand was selling in 300 cities across India. [7]
