Correspondence (A Fiction) is second studio album by Levi the Poet, and he released the album on November 17, 2014.
Levi Morgan MacAllister, who goes by the stage name Levi the Poet, is an American Christian musician and spoken word artist. His first release, Werewolves, was released by Independently, in 2009. The subsequent release, an extended play, Monologues, was released by Come&Live! Records, in 2011. He released, a studio album, with Come & Live Records, Seasons, in 2012. His follow-up studio album, Correspondence , was released independently, in 2014. While he claims to be a Christian artist, he has some controversial merchandise that might not represent the ideals most Christian's uphold.

Jordan Gonzales, giving the album three and a half stars for HM Magazine , writes, "Correspondence is a chaotic and beautiful mess of supercharged spoken word set to a documentary soundtrack of a backbone that avoids clichés." [1] Awarding the album four and a half stars from Jesus Freak Hideout, Mark Rice states, "this album contains all the tools necessary for it to do so; a compelling story, an emotive score, superb writing, excellent delivery, and thoughtful content." [3] Scott Fryberger, rating the album four and a half stars at Jesus Freak Hideout, says, "This is one of Levi's finest releases; if you're a fan of his or a fan of wonderful storytelling, this is an album for you." [4] Giving the album four stars by Indie Vision Music, Ian Zandi describes, "While the stories may have depressing notes, he tells it like it is. Honest." [2]
HM Magazine is a monthly, digital and print on demand publication focusing on hard music and alternative culture of interest to Christians. The magazine states that its goal is to "honestly and accurately cover the current state of hard music and alternative culture from a faith-based perspective." It is known for being one of the first magazines dedicated to covering Christian metal. The magazine's content includes features; news; album, live show and book reviews, culture coverage and columns. HM's occasional "So and So Says" feature is known for getting into artists' deeper thoughts on Jesus Christ, spirituality, politics and other controversial topics.
