Cosmos Aluminium S.A. is a Greek aluminium extrusion industry based in Larissa, operating internationally in the production of aluminium profiles.
The company was founded in the summer of 2007 by Xenophon Kantonia and his sons, Ioannis and Theodoros. Production of aluminium profiles began at the end of 2008, with an initial workforce of about 40 employees. Gradually, the company expanded into international markets through subsidiaries and partnerships. [1]
Cosmos Aluminium manufactures a wide range of aluminium profiles for industrial and architectural applications, both standard and custom-designed (“custom drawing”).
Most of the company’s production (around 85-99%) is exported to more than 67 countries. [2]
The company’s production plant is located in Larissa and includes 6 extrusion lines with fully automated storage, logistics, and die-management systems. Cosmos Aluminium is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and EN 15088:2006 certification for extrusion products.
In 2023, the merger by absorption of ETEM S.A. by Cosmos Aluminium was completed, with Cosmos retaining management control and approximately 85% ownership, while ELVALHALCOR (affiliated with the Viohalco Group) holds the remaining 15%. The new unified company has a production capacity exceeding 70,000 tons per year and a consolidated turnover approaching €300 million. [3]

At the same time, the company is implementing investment programs for modernization, energy efficiency, and expansion of its facilities. [5]
