Phish is an American rock band that was founded at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont in 1983. The band is known for musical improvisation, extended jams, blending of genres, and a dedicated fan base. The band consists of guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer Jon Fishman, and keyboardist Page McConnell, all of whom perform vocals, with Anastasio being the primary lead vocalist.
Grand Junction is a home rule municipality that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Mesa County, Colorado, United States. The city has a council–manager form of government, and is the most populous municipality in all of western Colorado. Grand Junction is 247 miles (398 km) west-southwest of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. As of the 2010 census, the city's population was 58,566. Grand Junction is the 15th most populous city in the state of Colorado and the most populous city on the Colorado Western Slope. Orvon Grover "Gene" Autry, nicknamed The Singing Cowboy, was an American singer, songwriter, actor, musician and rodeo performer who gained fame largely by singing in a crooning style on radio, in films, and on television for more than three decades beginning in the early 1930s. Autry was the owner of a television station, several radio stations in Southern California, and the Los Angeles/California/Anaheim Angels Major League Baseball team from 1961 to 1997.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, and is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents. The event features musical artists from many genres of music, including rock, pop, indie, hip hop, and electronic dance music, as well as art installations and sculptures. Across the grounds, several stages continuously host live music.
Merritt is a city in the Nicola Valley of the south-central Interior of British Columbia, Canada. It is 270 km northeast of Vancouver. Situated at the confluence of the Nicola and Coldwater rivers, it is the first major community encountered after travelling along Phase One of the Coquihalla Highway and acts as the gateway to all other major highways to the B.C. Interior. The city developed in 1893 when part of the ranches owned by William Voght, Jesus Garcia, and John Charters were surveyed for a town site.

Since debuting on May 29, 2010, Bayou Country Superfest has brought together some of the biggest stars in music for a local celebration that began on the campus of Louisiana State University. Wasteland Weekend is an annual festival held in California City, California. The event is listed as a full immersion event, with all participants required to adhere to the set theme. First held in 2010, it has since been held annually in September. In 2019, the 10th-anniversary edition of Wasteland Weekend was held from September 25 to September 29. The festival includes post-apocalyptic themed costumes, campsites and vehicles, live bands and DJs, fire, burlesque and other performers, and Jugger matches.
Spafford is an American jam band that blends genres of rock, funk, jazz, reggae, ska, and electro-pop. Members Brian Moss (guitar/vocals) and Jordan Fairless (bass/vocals) formed Spafford in Prescott, Arizona on New Year's Eve in 2009. Andrew “Red” Johnson (keys/vocals) joined Moss and Fairless after meeting the duo at an open mic night in Prescott. Cameron Laforest (drums/percussion/vocals) was the last addition of this current formation until Spafford and Cam went their separate ways April 2019. Spafford’s previous drummer, Nick Tkachyk, returned to the band at this point. The group self-releases their music, many of which are soundboard recordings of their live shows.

40 Years in the Making: The Magic Music Movie is a 2017 American documentary film written and directed by comedy writer Lee Aronsohn about Magic Music, a folk music band that broke up in 1975 before ever releasing a record. They were big in Boulder, Colorado, where Aronsohn attended University of Colorado Boulder. After Aronsohn's retirement from The Big Bang Theory, Aronsohn decided to make the documentary about the band and try to get them to reunite to play one more show.
