The Coweta County School District is the primary education system in Coweta County, Georgia, United States. Its headquarters are an antebellum building on Jackson Street (US 29) at Sprayberry Road in Newnan, Georgia. Coweta County is the 9th-fastest-growing county in Georgia and the 26th-fastest-growing in the country. The school system has grown from 9,210 students in 1984 to over 22,000 students in 2007. 
The school system operates eighteen elementary schools, six middle schools and three high schools, serving an area of 431 square miles (1,120 km2) with approximately 22,000 students and 1,200 teachers.  
Roughly a week after the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, it was revealed Coweta school board member Linda Menk had attended the rally in Washington, D.C.   Menk, after facing backlash from the community, refused to resign from her position, and urged her fellow board members that October to leave the Georgia School Boards Association after its parent organization, the National School Boards Association, sent a letter to the Biden presidential administration urging an investigation into the "growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation." 
Coweta County is a county located in the west central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. It is part of Metro Atlanta. As of the 2010 census, the population was 127,317. The county seat is Newnan.

The Richmond County School System is an American public school system based in Augusta, Georgia. It is run by the Richmond County Board of Education which, under Article VIII, § V, Paragraph 2, requires that each school system be under the management and control of an elected board of education. As elected Constitutional officials of Georgia, the school board members are responsible for setting educational policies, employing school personnel, providing buildings and equipment, operating a transportation system, and disbursing school funds. The board of education meets in the Richmond County Board of Education building at 864 Broad Street in Augusta, Georgia. It serves consolidated Augusta-Richmond County, Georgia and the south Richmond County cities of Hephzibah and Blythe. The system has an enrollment of around 32,000 students, attending 36 elementary schools, ten middle schools, eight high schools, four magnet schools, and three other schools. The school board has its own police department which provides law enforcement services to all the district's schools.

Spotsylvania County Public Schools is a public school district serving Spotsylvania County, Virginia. It consists of 17 Elementary, 7 Middle, and 5 High Schools and has a total enrollment of nearly 24,000 students. The Spotsylvania County School division also has a Career and Technical Center and participates with other local school systems to offer the Commonwealth Governor's School. The district partners with area businesses to develop learning opportunities for the students. Spotsylvania County Public Schools works with the area Parks and Recreation Department to help maintain the area around the Schools.

The airport is located 4 nautical miles south of the central business district of Newnan, Georgia and 33 nautical miles southwest of Atlanta. It is surrounded by US 29 and I-85 and 100 acres (0.40 km2) owned by the county.
Newnan High School (NHS) is a public high school in southwestern Coweta County, Georgia, United States. It is located south of Newnan's historic downtown district. NHS is the oldest of the three Coweta County School System high schools.
East Coweta High School (ECHS) is a public high school located in Coweta County, Georgia, United States. It serves about 3,300 students in grades 9 to 12 in the Coweta County School System. It is the second oldest high school in the county.

The 2020 United States presidential election was the 59th quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. The Democratic ticket of former vice president Joe Biden and the junior U.S. senator from California Kamala Harris defeated the incumbent Republican president Donald Trump and incumbent vice president Mike Pence. The election took place against the backdrop of the global COVID-19 pandemic and related recession. It was the first election since 1992 and the first in the 21st century, in which the incumbent president failed to win a second term. The election saw the highest voter turnout by percentage since 1900, with each of the two main tickets receiving more than 74 million votes, surpassing Barack Obama's record of 69.5 million votes from 2008. Biden received more than 81 million votes, the most votes ever cast for a candidate in a U.S. presidential election.
