Craig Campbell (born 1969) is a Canadian stand-up comedian, who now lives in Devon, England. [1] [2]

Career

Campbell co-hosted Ed's Night Party (aka Ed's Late Night) with Ed the Sock on Citytv in Toronto, Canada for several seasons, and also hosted From Wimps to Warriors. He was also part of a comedy trio called The Dinks, with Tony Law and Dan Antopolski. [3] He also appeared with Dennis Miller on Mountain Madness and performed with Jim Carrey Live and on Just for Laughs .

In the UK he has appeared on Russell Howard's Good News [4] on BBC Three and with Al Murray on Edinburgh & Beyond. He also appeared in the second series of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow on BBC One.

In November 2008 he toured Kazakhstan with UK comic Nick Wilty, performing in Almaty, Aktau and Atyrau. [3]

He supported Frankie Boyle on his 2010 UK tour and performed his debut stand-up tour in 2011. [5] He opened for Boyle on his 2012 tour.

He appeared on Dave's One Night Stand in April 2011, with Chris Addison and Jo Enright. [6]

In November 2015, Craig performed in Moscow, Russia.

Campbell hosted a monthly comedy night in Tiverton, Devon. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic this has been cancelled. [7]

<i>Russell Howards Good News</i> British television series

Russell Howard's Good News was a British comedy and topical news television show which was broadcast on BBC Three between 2009 and 2014, and on BBC Two between 2014 and 2015. Hosted by comedian Russell Howard, it offered his commentary on the news of the week through mostly stand-up, along with sketches and humorous video clips, whilst also having guest appearances from people who have been featured in the media recently. It was made by independent production company Avalon Television and produced by Mark Iddon, Robyn O'Brien and David Howarth. Repeats of earlier episodes are also broadcast on Comedy Central, Dave and W. The show also made an appearance on Children in Need 2011 and Red Nose Day 2013, featuring a number of sketches from recent episodes, as well as a new segment of "It's Not All Doom and Gloom".
