Catherine Yvette Ceberano is an Australian singer and actress who performs in the soul, jazz, and pop genres, as well as in film and musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar. Her single "Bedroom Eyes" received a platinum sales certification in 1989. As of 2023, Ceberano has 11 platinum and 8 gold albums Ceberano was the artistic director of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
The John Butler Trio were an Australian roots-rock band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler, an APRA and ARIA-award-winning musician. They formed in Fremantle in 1998 with Jason McGann on drums, Gavin Shoesmith on bass and John Butler on vocals. By 2009, the trio consisted of Butler with Byron Luiters on bass and Nicky Bomba on drums and percussion, the latter being replaced by Grant Gerathy in 2013. After both Luiters and Gerathy exited the trio in early 2019, bassist OJ Newcomb and drummer Terepai Richmond joined the band, accompanied by touring musician Elana Stone on keyboards, percussion and backing vocals.
Pnau is an Australian dance music trio originating from Sydney. The trio, a duo before 2016, consists of the musicians Nick Littlemore, Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore (production), with the latter joining in 2016. Pnau first gained recognition through their 1999 debut album Sambanova, which later won an ARIA Music Awards for Best Dance Release. Their third album, Pnau (2007), brought them further critical acclaim and success. Pnau is also recognised for a heavily publicised apprenticeship under the musician Elton John, who signed the duo after listening to the Pnau album. Several of Pnau's later projects have had John's involvement, such as the album Soft Universe and an album of Pnau recreations of Elton John's hits called Good Morning to the Night.
Katie Anne Noonan is an Australian singer and songwriter. In addition to a successful solo career encompassing opera, jazz, pop, rock and dance, she was the singer in the band George and remains the singer in the band Elixir; performs with her mother Maggie Noonan; and plays with her band The Captains. Noonan was the musical director of and performed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games' opening and closing ceremonies.

Wouter André "Wally" De Backer, known professionally as Gotye, is a Belgian-born Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is known for his 2011 single "Somebody That I Used to Know", featuring New Zealander musician Kimbra, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the best-selling song of 2012. He has won five ARIA Awards and received a nomination for an MTV EMA for Best Asia and Pacific Act. On 10 February 2013, he won three Grammy Awards at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards Show: Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Somebody That I Used to Know" and Best Alternative Music Album for Making Mirrors.
Like Drawing Blood is the second studio album by Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter Gotye, released in Australia on 21 May 2006. All the sounds on the album were collected and assembled or performed by Wally De Backer in bedrooms around Melbourne between 2003 and 2005, and the record was mixed and mastered by François Tétaz. It was featured heavily by Triple J in May 2006. At the J Award of 2006, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year.
Elefant Traks was a record label based in Sydney, Australia, founded by Kenny Sabir (p.k.a.Traksewt) in 1998. The label predominantly released Australian hip hop music, and founded its own hip-hop collective, The Herd, as well as managing acts like Horrorshow and Hermitude. Belgian-Australian singer Gotye has released three studio albums, one remix album, one live album, one collaborative album, one video album, twelve singles, and at least twenty music videos. Having developed a passion for music in his childhood years, he began his musical career as the lead singer of Australian rock band Downstares. Following the group's dissolution, Gotye turned his interest to creating sample-based electronic music; he sent out demo tapes of his music to several Australian radio stations. In 2002, he formed the indie pop band The Basics with fellow singer-songwriter Kris Schroeder. Gotye later signed to Creative Vibes as a solo artist and released his debut studio album Boardface in February 2003.

Sam Anning is an Australian jazz bassist. He was nominated for ARIA Awards for Best Jazz Album with Dale Barlow, George Coleman Jr, Mark Fitzgibbon & Sam Anning - Treat Me Gently in 2009 and with Allan Browne, Marc Hannaford, Sam Anning - Shreveport Stomp in 2011.
Marc Hannaford is an Australian jazz pianist. He was nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 2011 and at the AIR Awards of 2011 for Shreveport Stomp in 2011.
